What are you gonna do about the champions that need frevor atm?

MunchCrunchLunch··1 votes·645 views

Jax MasterYi XinZhao Warwick Udyr

all I see is you making ad carries stronger with this and Yasuo stronger too. whats the point of making it give ad your making it give half the power for these users. mean while more powerful or equal to any adc with ie/crit.

All i understand is that your making it stronger 100% of the time on ad carries that build crit. which is all of them at some point of the game. but also your nerfing it for champions that are balanced around it atm and not abusing it. what is your plan riot? will you buff these champions. master yi is terrible right now. Jax and xin and udyr are mediocre at best. warwick is getting a rework i will give you that. whats gonna happen here.

frevor should have just been removed to be honest. and added something else that just doesn't give straight up damage.

"Something else that doesn't give straight up damage"

Yeah those don't do well. Very few people pick stormraiders surge for example. Plus in the offense tree it'd be odd to not have a damage keystone.

The fewer damage keystones we have, those more likely League of TLD returns.

i guess but I mean. the changes on the pbe. are going to be. way worse for the game. do you want to play against a tryndamere with these changes. or a yasuo early game? god no. late game over 1k crits not even full build? or an adc that gets a bt extra of ad for free? this cannot go through.

frevor needs changes because i dont enjoy lucian getting so much damage from it. or ezreal. but that will just help them even more. meanwhile non abusers will suffer.

You forgot Shyvana. She needs Fervor to keep up in damage with how she was in s5, and her tanky choice is getting deleted as well.

Maybe we'll see rage blade buffed before 2017

MunchCrunchLunch1 votes

the item was so unhealthy when it was strong. i dont know if we want the old rageblade or any version of it back tbh. just. rework it or bring back the tank buster rageblade. at least that was situational. not complete shit. the stacking mechanic is just weird. just give the item base stats and get it over with rito.

Big Lincoln1 votes

well it was only an issue in conjunction with sated, yeah?

onhits have been nerfed hard or removed, I don't think a rage blade buff would be so bad

MunchCrunchLunch1 votes

i dont think straight up buffing is a good start. changing it. give it base as. 30% attack speed. 35 ad. and 45 ap. and idk 30 on hit magic damage and idk some shit like that would work.

fervor not frevor

All of those champs love the AD, save for maybe WW. Not sure what your point is.

I don't think Jax or XinZhao are going to have too much trouble, they have good AD scaling on abilities. XinZhao currently has other issues though, so I wouldn't be surprised if he's weak in preseason.

MasterYi might have a rough time because he was so dependent on procing fervor with his passive. Warwick as well, the AD doesn't give his ult as much as the on-hit damage.

Personally as a Renekton main, I'm fine with either one. Though the nerf to rapidly getting fervor stacks will affect me.

what good ad scaling jax has? his Q has 1 bonus ad ratio. which in general. sucks on a hybrid champion. his W has no ad scaling. his E has 1.0 bonus ad scaling. which again. sucks on a hybrid champion. has low base damage. his R does magic damage and has no ad scaling

xin has okay scalings but hes more dependant on on hit too.

and its a buff to renekton and every other ad champion obviously. even riven. and irelia too. as if they need it. maybe renekton but not the rest.

I like how you ask what AD scaling Jax has, then list two 1.0 AD ratios, but "they suck" so it doesn't count. How does AD suck on a hybrid champion? item 3078 item 3146 item 3124 item 3053 are Jax's most common choice for damage items, and they all have AD. One is even base AD, meaning it's good even without feeding into his ratios. The rest of his build is usually defensive items. Jax loses more damage from Fervor being reduced to 60 from 80 than from it being changed to bonus AD

You're also forgetting that his ult gives him resistances based on AD and AP.

The reason I separated Jax and Xin from Yi and Warwick is that Jax and Xin don't have specific abilities that give extra on-hit procs but have reduced AA damage. Yi passive and Warwick ult means 80 on hit damage is explicitly better than the same amount of AD (I'm aware it's less AD, but this is to make my point). If Jax goes from 80 on hit damage to 80 AD, he doesn't lose any DPS because he relies on attack speed and attack resets, both of which benefit fully from bonus AD. Xin is the same way, he has no ability that applies on-hit effects but does less AD than a normal autoattack. He just has high attack speed and a low CD attack reset.

Jax and Xin aren't dependent on on-hit, they just synergize well with it. Warwick and Yi are actually dependent on on-hit damage numbers.

The bias is real.

Xin Zhao, good AD scaling? His Q has .2 AD scaling, his W heal has .2 bonus AD scaling. Those scalings suck. His ult does have 1.0 bonus AD, but its base damage is only 75 at rank 1 and 275 at rank 3, so it's still utterly bad. AD is not a very good stat on Xin.

All Riot needed to do was change Fervor to magic damage and dial back how much damage it gets per level a little bit.

Favoring crit-users like this seems absurd.

Ralanr2 votes

How would making it magic damage be more balanced? That'd really mess up itemizing against them.

Most of the major abusers itemized for armor pen. Lowering the damage and making it magic would mean less bang for their buck while having less of an impact on champions who don't itemize for penetration. Starting MR is also higher than starting armor. Never underestimate the impact of early game nerfs.

you completely forgot about Twitch ;n;

besides, they'll do the classic "sorry about these unanticipated guttings, we'll work on a fix" followed by 6 months later and a small buff to a single one of the affected champs

MunchCrunchLunch1 votes

at least he gets crit. 50% . its probably not as good on him beause he likes the runnans splash damage. anyway they nerfed twitch in so many ways in preseason. so many ways. i'd like to see an ult buff or what not

Slythion1 votes

item 3142 rip item 3153 sucks item 2043 rip stealth item 3073 rip Twitch

what on earth does Riot expect Twitch to do when preseason comes?

Pierce The Veal1 votes

You know what they're going to do?

Ignore them.

Also pretty sure new fervor is stronger on Udyr and Xin considering their AD scalings. Yi is also a toss up. Lose some damage on autos gain some on crit builds/ on Q's.

Sasogwa1 votes

I'd say for Yi it's a buff. Though the on-hit damage is slightly reduced, it gives him stronger true damage.
