I have 77 tokens and about to get 80... Is it worth getting the icon and border? Will the border ever expire or go away? Or should I test my RNG with project orbs or shards?
Just want clarification on what the top reward actually gives.

Depends on if you'll use it/them.

The borders only work for Project Jhin, Project Vi, and Project Vayne. If you don't select one of those three in-game it won't work. If you plan to buy them at a later date, the border will apply to them then.

It gives the Final Hunt summoner icon and (upon owing Project Vayne, Vi, or Jhin) it will put a border on them in the loading screen.

Mysticman891 votesSkins/champs etc can be gotten at any time in the future, but borders tend to be limited time only, so I almost always opt for the limited time stuff regardless of if I think I'll use it, simply because it's my only chance and who knows if down the road I might want them.
Of course, some might consider that wasteful if they're confident they won't want them when they could be getting something they actually do want, but it's something to consider.
