Ekko - Ekko's passive no longer slows, but Chronobreak triggers Parallel Convergence as Ekko travels back through time.

Ekko's passive no longer slows

Been waiting for this nerf forever!! Although tank Ekko is no longer a huge problem, the fact that he can perma slow was pretty ridiculous coupled with the fact he gained 80% movementspeed. I wouldn't mind his AD getting increased by 5 again

He's gonna get damage buffs, i guarantee it.

he will be really bad to play ap. just like he currently is. man this champion is gonna get a rework somewhere soon probably

I'd post a picture of a mangled body after a car accident, but that is many times too graphic for the boards.

That's basically the state ekko is in right now though.

hes pretty unplayable. i doubt that small change is gonna do anything. when i first bought ekko i was building him bruiser 3 tank items and 3 damage items. because going full ap makes no sense. its just bad on him. he too vulnerable to cc because his combo is predictable and his dash is slow and short. one stun dead.

at least make his ult activation negate cc. so i don't die every time i get caught when am squishy. you get what i mean.

and completely remove the damage on his ult because its cheesy. and it doesn't really do anything for the ap builds as he doesn't survive the burst for his shadow to catch up. his ult damage much more useful for tank builds.

literally. every assassin in the game is less vulnerable than him. every single one. zed can go invulnerable. and most of the other ones have stelath. sure his ult makes him invulnerable. but he isn't ulting in to a location he ults back so if you ult before you even got hit you didn't do anything you just wasted an ult and the enemy just wasted a basic cc ability most likely.

also i used to play him strictly in the jungle because ap ekko can't lane against anyone

You explained it incredibly well. Oh well, hopefully ekko can speed up time so he can reach his rework faster.

they can't make a skirmisher/assassin an ap champion with only 2 damaging abilities and a damaging passive that their main source of damage is autoing in melee range and a gimmicky situational damage ult that doesn't reward good play and only idiots fall too. and even then its hard to pull off.

"yeah am ekko imma dash into you as a mid laner and be doing your mage ass A FAVOR being in point blank range to get cced and bursted lol"

the Definitely not assassin ekko

What is the ultimate change?

if his chronobreak passes through a parallel convergence (his stun/shield bubble) it procs it, stunning and granting him the shield. this makes it easier to land the w>wait>r stun which is really good for turn arounds.

wow this isn't gonna do anything

It makes him a LOT better to play against. He cant just throw out Qs, E, and then run away at 600ms,

MunchCrunchLunch1 votes

yeah but why would you play assassin ekko with the delayed damage when you can you know? play leblanc or akali and blow people up much faster/from range

is it really a nerf now that ekko can get a guranteed 5 man stun with his R+W combo now? is it REALLY a nerf? think hard about that one.

I myself actively try to avoid the pathing of Ekko's 'hologram' whatever and I guess that other players do too. I think getting the stun won't be any more difficult than how it is now.

JerulEon1 votes

How does proccing the shield and stun while ulting help significantly? You already ulted away from your enemies and won't be able deal more damage. It still doesn't fix his problem of being blown up before doing his full combo

I mean I guess it gives him some more outplay potential when dueling but doesn't help him assassinate.
