I need help against fizz.

I literally have never won a lane against him because none of the champions I play can even lock him down. And his main counter Lissandra is pure garbage. What do?

Imma just say, Lissandra is far from pure garbage, she's actually in a really good spot in terms of how balanced she is despite still actually being a tad stronger than just balanced, but most importantly she's no longer in the 'nerf' range.

She is not pure garbage. But she is bad right now. Even Riot knows it and they are testing a few changes and buffs for her (likely included in 8.8) Source: Dev Corner.

I play FIzz and I lose a lot to enemy Oriannas and Viktors. Orianna with her stupid harass before 6 and Viktor with.. basically the same thing.

Matchups like Lissandra or Anivia against Fizz rely more on passive farming instead of pinning down your enemy laner. They both have abilities that allow them to survive Fizz's initial R burst.

Honestly i played three or so times against Fizz mid with Sion, he couldn't even farm let alone get a kill.

against fizz you just have to waveclear and farm well. He is melee so his only option is to all in and before lvl 6 he can't do that very well. Once he gets to lvl 6 then safely clear waves and keep wards around. Every fizz I've played against (especially at my elo) can't really farm well so they rely on getting gold by roaming. Make sure to call out his roams and punish him in his CS score by pushing out waves and taking first turret.

All that said, fizz is my least favorite champion to face so clearly I have some issues with fizz also. I'm not saying that it's great, it really doesn't feel good to face him ever with anyone especially once he gets a little gold.

someone else mentioned Orianna and I do like that champion against fizz. Also she kind of counters him in her 5 v 5 capabilities while he's more of a champ that trying to catch someone out and the Ori shield can really help enable your ADC or whomever survive the fizz onslaught.

Ryze eats fizz up. Better harras, waveclear, have an innate tanky-ness plus shields and W to root fizz. Easy.

He is one the top of my list of least favorite laners to face when i playing ezreal mid. Pretty much zed/fizz/yasuo are the only champions who will give me a hard time. Problem is Fizz E is so fking overloaded an needs to be given the Leblanc W treatment. Escape/gapcloser/slowing/burst damage/tower shot/skillshot dodging bull shit ability.

i'll give you the short answer

don't spam all of your abilities when trying to fight fizz until he uses his E. Do not stand still and wait for him to come down from his E. if he uses his E twice the hitbox is a lot smaller and way more easy to avoid. If you get hit by ult don't try to fight him he will most likely kill you.

as ekko you have way more tools to deal with fizz, also if you use flash or your gap closer as ekko when he uses Q none of the damage is applied nor is his W.

yea his Q is the most useless ability of all time. If fizz doesn't hit you with his ult or E he shouldn't win a fight with you unless you are below half health or under leveled

Lissandra is not the best in most match ups but you can still destroy a Fizz completely with her. If you can't then it's your fault and not Lissandras.

I pray to get Fizz everytime I play Lissandra.

Assassins are good in SoloQ. Lissandra is an anti assassin lockdown champion, she is quite self reliant. Just because you dont see Liss at lcs doesnt mean she is bad

If I were to pick a veigar one of the champions I would like to play against is fizz. You do realise that champion which is in your name is good against fizz? I dont suggest lux and velkoz into him but most of your champs are fine into fizz
