Is Miss Fortune's Q not supposed to scale with AS?

Using it late-game drastically slows your DPS, to the point where you're better off not using it and just attacking. That just sucks.

Is this intended behavior or an oversight?

Yeah :/. I mean, it's pretty sad when using a damage ability makes you do less damage.

I never use MF as AD :/. I mean she's decent, but honestly works better apc half the time.

Also! IF you go AP, instead of being useless, your ult is devastating~

Actually her ultimate scales higher of AD.

Her Q I believe also has double the damage, and her W passively gives her auto attacks more damage according to her AD.

Miss Fortune as AP is okay, I like how Riot allows it to be viable like AP Ezreal, but Miss Fortune as an ADC does significantly more damage. AP Miss Fortune is SIGNIFICANTLY more frustrating to play against though because she just spams her E all over you and it pretty much one shots minion waves now.

Honestly, the ult scalings are about equal come late game. 160% of 700 is about the same as 385% of 300.

the one time it felt powerful was when I used it on people trapped in Jarvan's ult but even Twitch would have done a better job there

Her ultimate has 1,000 base damage at max rank and can potentially due up to 216% of Miss Fortune's AD on an entire team.

It's not the best late game, but early - mid game It's really strong.

Even if not, you can use it to clear minion waves instantly or steal an objective like Dragon, Baron, or even Buffs.

well not really lol, MF and Cait are the strongest lane bullies in the game (yes, they are way stronger than Graves @ bullying, Graves is just more reliable thanks to the instant AOE burst wich comes pretty handy in early game fights @ drake and such)

MF is strong early to mid (and weak late) Cait is strong early and late (but weak mid)

i mean MF has got a few problems, but her laning phase is top tier

Her laning phase is superior to Caitlyn's because Caitlyn can't all-in people without getting them to like, 25% - 50% health. Miss Fortune can all-in anyone no matter what. However Caitlyn is significantly more safe and has a range advantage over Miss Fortune.

Thank you for pointing it out though, I see so many people say "lol mf sucks at every thing she just the jak of all le tradez" despite her having a scary stronger laning phase.

What...? Her Q cancels her auto animation and doesn't interrupt your autos as far as I'm aware. I'm pretty positive auto, Q, auto not only does more dmg than auto, auto but it also finishes faster if you use it to cancel your auto animation.

If you're trying to full-auto someone and want your crits to work, using your Q screws that up. The recovery animation of her Q doesn't scale with AS, so that hurts her DPS later on.

Wave: 50 / 75 / 125 (+ 20% AP) Eight waves = 400 / 600 / 1000 (+ 160% AP)

Even if there's higher AD scaling, 384% AD scaling at 350 ad is still a lower overall comapred to 160% of 900.

The thing is. MF uses it to proc on hit effects. Because both targets eat the on hits. It's for burst damage when you time it right it actually acts kind like an AA reset. You can fire off 3 AAs in under .75s if you do it right late game. As someone said before, you use it to cancel the first attacks firing animation. It really doesn't slow down your DPS and it can crit as well.
