The reason why I think jungle is the least desired role

As a previous gold player last season I was terrified of the jungle (never jungled before) Reason? The game does NOT encourage you to go before you have a full rune page AND the usual mastery of a champion. I did not "Grow" up with learning how to jungle. The additional difficulty of what was the optimal route of the jungle also made it scary. Lanes are at LEAST 3x as easy as junging. This season I am trying to get into jungling by trying warwick but I STILL do not know the route I'm supposed to go. That is how bad jungle is.

Another reason is that people blame you if you either gank without a kill, gank and die, or not gank at all, and failing to smite the dragon or baron and possibly costing the game.

As a jungle main, I share the second part of your concerns of getting blamed and shit. But I completely disagree with your first part. I love jungle and the diversity of routes you can take, the freedom and such :) jungling is great :)

First thing, you know when your lane opponent goes afk and you get to peacefully farm? Yeah that's the jungle.

Second thing, everything your team says is input you need. Someone tells me to "gank you useless piece of shit jungles" I hear "my lane is under pressure".

Third thing to jungle, pick a tank initiaon jungle. Gank bot a lot with your initiation until it works then do dragon.

Bam your rolling through the jungle.

Watch a video or two on the new jungle; you'll pick it up quickly. I started jungling at lv 15 and it's my first-choice role now.
