And if you deal physical damage -- there's no rule that says you can't rush a item 3155. In fact, if you're not an ARAM Bronze League™ trashbad, that'll be your first purchase.

true, but the thread is more about sacrificing yourself for the team. it is not the same 30 mr only for you than 30 mr for you and 10 for the rest of your team.

Same can be said about multiple other things with itemizing against the opponent. What happens often is they to itemize too late for a Lord Dominik/Void Staff if the enemy has multiple tanks. That is more of an issue than nobody getting an Aegis.
