Some suggestions for potential AD assassin items

I play Pantheon. Like, main him. Religiously. I generally go with a mix of bruiser and AD, but I definitely play pure AD a lot.

Here are my observations because Pantheon is in a better state itemization-wise than say Zed or Tolan.

  1. Titanic Hydra is actually pretty decent when you're behind, but your carry is fed. You stay alive with the oodles of cheap HP while still dishing out decent amounts of damage in an aoe as well as being able to clear. Any new AD items that have HP on them would be built when Pantheon is behind. If he were ahead, then he would simply build pure AD for an item and then complete a pure tank item like Randuin's or Deadman's. In order to differentiate it from BC, it would have to be something that focuses on catching out squishies. One example would be:

> Lycanthrope Soul-Blade > X AD, Y HP > Active - Champion takes Z% bonus damage for 8 seconds (higher for ranged champions, a lot higher). During this time, champion can sense enemy champions hidden by the fog of war within a certain radius. The higher their current health, the further you can see them, up to D range. > >Clearly meant for catching out people before a fight and acting like a human ward when you are behind.

  1. A full AD build on Pantheon would be probably RHydra, BC, Youmou's, DD, and either BT or IE. Youmou's is meh because AS isn't really THAT important. Nice, but meh. DD is still meh. If this is one of the items you would buff, go crazy. Make it 50/50 (healing and damage reduced-received) or some shit. RHydra and BC are pretty much the only REALLY good items for him. The others are, as Riot has stated, just picking up whatever I can. One thing I would REALLY love on Pantheon however is a high-risk/high-reward item. For example:

>Memento Mori > 35 AD, 10 CDR >Active: Marks a target. After 2 seconds, causing them to take X% more physical damage from you for 3 seconds. For the entire 5 seconds, your vision radius is reduced (Quinn/Graves range) > >Because there is an actual downside to using your active, unlike DFG, I doubt people would >always buy this item, especially since it would only be useful in the late game when you have >plenty of AD to back it up, where you are super squishy and misusing this active could get >YOU caught out and killed instead.

  1. I have repeatedly said that Pantheon doesn't need mana regen post laning phase. However, there is one instance where I think he could use SOME bit: yoloqueue where your team is stupid and picked no one with waveclear AND you are too behind to have bought Hydra. For a low-cost tanky build like this, I would like an item that rewards teamplay by allowing you to participate in countersieging easily. This doesn't apply to Zed, but it applies to Pantheon and Tolan.

>Momentum Conservation - Catalyst + pickaxe >40 AD, 300 hp, 350 mana >Passive - restores 50-100 mana over 10 seconds after scoring a takedown on an enemy (kill, >assist, or structure kill.) Multiple takedowns do not stack the buff.

these are great. i've always loved the idea of items with downsides, i've had an idea in my head for a bit about an AP item that is crazy gold efficient but has a passive that silences you for a short period every time you use an ability.

didn't take a lot of time to read them. I liked that some had downsides included. not sure I liked all of these tho.
