What even is Akali tho?

I swear I could bully this champion into nothingness, literally send her backing 2 minutes in and even get a kill on her early. However, the moment I decide to take a trip to botlane(or top but lmao who roams top these days?), and maybe pick up a kill or a few assists, I'll get back into lane and suddenly she's 30 cs, 4 levels, 2 items ahead of me(gross hyperbole but you get the point) and 1v1's me into the dirt. This happened in 2 games and I swear to god, it was like it was the same person(same skin).

So please, Akali mains, how does one just randomly get back into the game after 10 minutes of abuse? Better yet, how can I as the enemy laner stop it?

You really have to stay in lane in babysit her to make sure she doesn't get strong at all, making sure she can't get cs, so basically, you have to rely on your jungler to be able to gank the lanes while you stay mid and prevent her from getting level 6 for as long as possible, also, she's very weak until the level 6 and the gunblade buy, as the items going into gunblade are very bad on their own.

you do know, shes been nerfed HARD and buffed slightly when riot visits her. hard nerfs, small buffs. its alright man, if you see her, just dodge mane. all good. 3lp vs 20.
