AP Trist dead, or the Hybrid Trist

Since for the 300 % ap burst to be used with AP trist now we need to aa the bomb for four time, needing atk speed now. So i thought why not Hybrid trist. Nashor tooth and hextech, guiniso and then straight cdr ap item. Flat ap, no pen. She retains her 300% ap combo, her auto hurts alot with nashor and hextech, and with 40cdr the e goes on cd very quickly, giving her a 100% ap aoe nuke on a 6-ish cd, combine which makes ap Trist useful in teamfight after using her combo, killing someone, and jumping out, using Q in conjunction with Nashor to deal respectable right click and throw out a 100 AP aoe bomb every 6-ish second

I messed around for about a 65 min 1v1 with a friend of mine just now. We tried out a few different builds and such. I didn't do anything pure ap, but we each mixed in some ap items (Hextech/nashors) before we both decided (without telling the other) that our final builds would be ad.

While the burst from an Ap ult has always been strong on trist we would 100-0 each other in a split second with full ad. The kills would probably of happened even faster if we didn't ult each other at the same time so often lol.

E scales really well with AD since you can increase the damage on it by 100% with 4 autos and of course you'd have the damage from the 4 autos. I believe once he killed me by E, auto, ult and i was walking away with 400 hp and the E popped for like 550 or so.

Try out hybrid, but i think you'll find that straight AD is the way to go for her now.
