How to punish a mispositioned talon?

JhomasTefferson··1 votes·316 views

Like, when hes way off on his own, and 4 people collapse on him, how do you deal with the bullshit wall jumps? or can you not, and is he just op?

You should be able to punish misplays on champs, how do you do that to talon?

Edit: As a champ with no hard cc

cc and kill him

or just kill him before he can jump over a wall.

If he is near a wall, then he isnt really mispositioned.

If he is near a wall he has not jumped recently he really isn't out of position.

well poppy has a few ideas and the cooldown between using the same wall again is quite high.

Hit any hard cc and kill him instantly.

What if I'm a champion with no hard cc?

If the 4 of you don't have any cc among you then RIP.

You can go to the other side of the wall ahead of time in prediction of the wall hop.

So, no one on your entire team has any hard cc?

m7 talon, if i get caught out and im not close to a wall (middle of river, middle of a lane) its danger, slows help a lot to make it harder to get in range to wall jump so at that point if i have ult up ill probably use it to try and get out, using aoe abilities in the area between where I am and the closest wall is very effective too (predicting where ill go).

But yeah other than that, hard CC>talon.

Talon main. If you're a champ with no hard CC you already messed up. If you do have CC, use it as he E's (is going over the wall)... his E is the most buggy crap you'll ever see when it comes to CC. I've jumped halfway over walls, only to reappear next to rammus because of his taunt. I've been condemned by vayne while jumping and stunned into the OPPOSITE SIDE. It is soooo tilting for the Talon player.

If he can escape, HE didn't misplay... that's kinda the point

The matchmaking system often puts me as first pick, and I'm often a jungler, so i won't know that I'll need cc, and even when i do have it I can't catch him.

If the talon is any good/sees you coming with wards, even with 3 people with me, how am i supposed to get close enough to get the cc landed? I've seen talons pushed up to my botlane tower while the rest of their team is just sorta milling about, not pressuring anything, so we go to collapse. If i try to wait over the wall, he'll just back or walk back down the lane, if i go to walk around and come up behind him, he jumps over and leaves me way behind. I can't rely on my team do shit, so what am i to do? One time, my team chased him up from botlane, so i waited in dragon pit. He jumps into it, then jumps out of it when he sees me on the other side. Why do the pit's outer walls not count as 1 piece of terrain?

And, being pushed up by yourself with 4 people coming to collapse on you from every angle is a misplay, and you should die at that point unless you 1v4 them somehow.

Welp. That can't be helped. I feel.

The Dragon pit is 3 I believe, although it's one MASSIVE part that encompasses almost the entire middle section, then two on the very extreme outer edges.

I could make the exact same complaint about summoner 4, but it still exists

Thats the bit i feel is op. If all of pit were one big one, and he could jump in but then had to flash out or vice versa, it would be ok. Some of the terrains are broken down into too many pieces, drag being a big one. Flash is also on a 5 min cooldown. His jumps aren't too near that, i think being 210 at rank one.

Ignore him and win the 5v4 against the rest of his team.
