Just saw this one online. If my math is right, Garen should have like 4k HP, 250 armor, 100 MR and sth like 300 AD.
Also the lethality and passive shield should make him a fantastic duelist.

Alzon1 votesThat guy was feeding off of a Yasuo and an Amumu who was playing Ultimate Bravery. If Amumu actually built like he should and Yasuo built Tabis, Garen’s build would have been a LOT less effective.

Garen really doesn't need more than 1-2 offensive items, though. He has loads of damage already, and doesn't really need that much more.

look at the enemy team. he didnt need mr.
even if amumu built tank instead of ad (wtf), the passive 40 mr on garens w are enough for that little bit of magic damage from the enemy jungler and support.
depending on who it is, i sometimes dont even build an mr item when the enemy team has a mage. stacking health is usually enough. like you dont need mr on garen against someone like lux, as your w just lets you absorb her burst and cc.

the only questionable part is duskblade instead of boots imo.
otherwise its a pretty standart build for garen.
