Riot, we get it.

Alright, we all know why you're nerfing tank items. Worlds is coming up, one of the biggest esports events ever. You want your pros to pick exciting and flashy champions so the games are entertaining. What that means is you want more money coming in with possible network and broadcast deals. W/e. But this isn't a fun change for your entire player base. Just think about it for once, with your hearts, not your wallets.

Riot makes more from e sports nuff said plus we have had tank meta for too long and this is the right step into actually making warrior jungles viable without getting out scaled by tanks.

But the tank meta was already on it's way out the door without more nerfs. cinderhulk lanes aren't really a thing anymore, devourer junglers are super strong now and since they're usually autoattacking tank shredders tanks natural predators are strong.

Right now the only spot almost entirely inhabited by tanks is support, and that's because there's nothing good for AP supports to build rather than tank supports being super OP.

Devour is meta in solo q and is pathetic in competitive which is cinderhulk and tank items needed the nerfs nobody wants the same jungle item built every game for the past 6months in competitive or since it was release however long ago.

Right, because Riot is under the Delusion that a team fight, unreliably started by someone who isn't a tanky initiator, lasting a total of 5 seconds, will keep people on the edge of their seats.

Instead of having more extended battles with champion entering and exiting at various times as they're channeling their globals and their teleports. Leaving all possibility for comeback potential, and exiting fights over Objectives.

Agreed. Longer lasting teamfights, with people ducking in and out of the fray and strategically timing their big-hitter spells, is much more fun to watch than 2 assassins deleting anything and everything in nanoseconds (cough Leblanc cough). Not that I hate assassins, I like them I just don't like any role dominating, and right now I think the balance in the game is great where you can pick any role and almost any champion and be an asset to your team. Yes there are some champions that are seriously underpowered and general purpose fighters seem to be a little left-out (but not unplayable by any means), but overall it's pretty balanced.

Now i'm worried the next patch is going to ruin it.

The fact that you think riot is desperate for views; they beat the nba finals last year from twitch..... lol im sure they have no problem with the amount of people, besides the fact that most of the money to be made at worlds has already been made, cept for maybe a broadcast television deal, which would be endgame for rito and full win ** this is to stop tank meta not to make teamfights faster, everyone knows longer teamfights are better and it only goes to show rito actually cares more about balance than views**
