give him ridiculous AA damage but the worst attack speed both base and scaling ALA treant protector
while not the most useful change but will give him some more thematic presence

You do realize that Treant doesn't have a built-in snare, soft/hard CC on all of his abilities except shield, and bonus damage from shield, right? Treant HAS no CC, except for his ultimate. His high base damage makes up for his lack of basically anything else in a fight, and leech seed doesn't count.
Nautilus would be the most terrifying level 2/3 gank champion to ever terrorize summoner's rift. Shield, Dredge line, swing, (if lv 3) E, swing, if his laner isn't asleep it's guaranteed first blood.
I love me some Naut, man, but dear god that would break him sooooo badly.
