why do low elo players always say "I always win lane but lose game"?
- if you check their match records they get stomped in lane at least 40% of the time.
- why do they think laning is the only skill that matters?

High Elo player : I always lose lane and win game
It truly is the key to climbing.
it's truth.
it's truth.
Well according to your responses in a different thread yesterday there is currently too much snowballing in game and therefore it makes sense that winning lane = winning game.
in the past, it is true that if you lose lane you can still win game even if the opponent makes no mistakes, simply by grouping or roaming elsewhere.
Right now it is still true but against competent non-veggie opponents they won't allow you to come back.

Yea I was just giving you shit lol. I know at the end of the season I tried to make a run for gold and started thinking after each game in steps.
LIke 1. Did I win lane. yes or no. 2. What did you do after laning phase? 3. How did team fights go? 4. What more could you have done to win game?
For a long time I was thinking "I keep winning lane and losing game wtf!". But that form of thinking never really got me anywhere. Still have a long way to go to be considered "good" but at least trying to change my thinking to improve my overall game play.
It should be common sense but I think its lost on a lot of us that if you keep winning lane but losing the game, you clearly are not using your lead to win the game. Have to figure out why that is and improve.
2-6 and have300 cs strongest team member in 30mins God bless cs wins games
cs, rotations, objectives. The true keys to winning.
new = limited vision... why are u so angry at new players who dont understand the game yet...
stomped 40% of the games means winning 60% of the games means they are sky rocketing through the ranks...
why r u so angry... its just a fun game man... play for fun
stomped in their lane 40% of the time = they are not stomped in lane 60% of the time. could still mean they are losing it slowly or they are even or they are winning.
also, winning lane 60% of the time doesnt mean (well it does, but not to noobs) contributing significantly more to the game than their opposing laner.
I'm not angry. I'm not low elo either lol. Most low elos aren't new, they are limited by wrong beliefs.
I used to win lane and lose the game a lot, most games in fact (was 40 games below .500 at one point), but I realized it was because I was building for winning lane, and as such, not building for late game. I've tried to do better to build more late game, but I do lose lane a lot more than I used to. This was really common on champs like Kennen or Brand. I never lost lane with them but I didn't have typical late game builds and ended up suffering for it a lot.
I think this is a common misconception in low ELO; that winning the laning phase means winning the game. It does help, but if you itemize for just the first 15 or so minutes of the game your power spike will be delayed. More specifically I'm talking about focusing a lot on early sustain and low cost items for early game power spikes - this causes the late game power spike to be delayed. I didn't get that for a long time, and am currently trying to learn how to win lane without relying on early power spikes to do it.
SHRUG
I too sometimes win lane and lose game why? Because past the laning phase it seems like most people seem to get lost on what they're supposed to do and what they want to do.. I too am guilty of this.
Sometimes I look at the mini map and were all running around in the jungle trying to fight.. not taking objectives or anything and we all get picked off by the enemy that decided to group and push objectives.
I know I'm doing something wrong in my games, I could help myself by grouping with some people and following them but will everyone group? probably not... but such is league..
Alls you can do is keep an eye on your map and hope that person knows what they're doing.. and sometimes your that person but you don't realize it till you look back...
Were all slightly hypocritical..
but were low elo players if no one made these mistakes everyone would be challenger... and that's no fun now is it?.. xD
Snowballing is false happened to me I lose lane 0-4 Ekko was really fed Built Tanky sustain
Proceeds to get two triple kills after grouping
More of the learn what you need to do to get into game.
