So who counters the new akali?

I bet would be really good after a while. His E can completely shut her down since half her kit needs to move a long distance.

I would think more like Folks who can pressure her even under W smoke. Of the above I think swain and karth might but the other 3 rely on some targeted abilitys and autos.

Hard to say, so far I've seen Irelia & Heimerdinger as good picks against her for the time being.

She is EXTREMELY weak against slows and ruptures in the ground. Her counters aren't who you're thinking of, It's

The idea with new Akali is to constantly be moving. The more movement speed you're moving at, the higher DPS you can dish out. You can use your E for 2 passives, then use q for 1 passive, then 1 more q for passive and a lvl 5 smoke can give you 1 additional Q to use your ultimate on. However, if you're going for a kill you need to ult in the beginning stages of a fight.

Trundle in particular just shut downs Akali instantly, however.

Pantheon. She can do nothing against him at all. It is possibly the most boring lane I've ever played in mid. That's not to say it was effective, oh no, because all she does is hide in the smoke but by the same token she couldn't do anything. She tried to farm by throwing kunai and if she slipped up she lost half her health.

(Can but if your not Mastery 7 with him with at least 100k mastery points already dont play him.) (Same as A-Sol.)
