How's the sexiEst male in LoL, yorick, doing this patch?

I play a lot of yorick, I still can't hit my e. I suck at the game and get just barely over a 50% winrate on yorick in gold. Yeah I'm not challenger, but this guy is. Here is what he has to say about yorick. https://www.reddit.com/r/yorickmains/comments/81eluw/comment/dv2u0vx

One thing ninetales doesn't mention is the plethora of bugs yorick has going on. Maybe someone at riot could like idk maybe play yorick once? At least you guys can fix some of the bugs you'll invariably notice. (Like how the ult doesn't recall with you and starts running it down mid when you get to fountain)

Very few people pay attention to Yorick so I'm just trying to give him a little bit of representation here. And yes, yorick is better looking than rakan.

Edit - Yorick winrate dropped 10% through preseason. He got direct nerfs on early game ghoul damage with buff to consistency and small buff on damage late. Imo a step inn the right direction.

What champions do you play and what rank are you at? Yorick does better at low elo and vs low mobility champs. No hate just curious.

I don't agree that he's oppressive in general. Perhaps in some matchups I could see where you'd get that from.

Top lane I play Nasus, Gangplank, and Darius. I'm always looking for ways to play against this guy. I just cant ever seem to get the upper hand on a Yorick, no matter who i play tbh. What should I do? Executioners calling doesn't work, being aggressive early doesn't work. Who should I play against him/ what should I do?

Feels bad helping you beat my one trick champ.

Don't push into yorick when he can trap you with ghouls or his ult.

Get the 1k gold thornmail item instead of executioners.

If Yorick wants to pressure then he will push, if you're getting pressured ask for a gank.

W/ darius bully him level 1 before he gets ghouls and keep him low enough that he can't all in or keep him far enough that he can't stack graves. Let him push just a little then start to zone him. From there slow push him in over and over and roam or dive with jg.

W/ Nasus let Yorick push into you at level 1. Freeze as long as you can. Make sure you take out the wall asap and just walk away from his all-in. As long as you don't get stuck in the wall you should win at level 6 with sheen vs sheen. Late game fuck up yorick maiden with your q and wither yorick. Yorick is better team fighter than Nasus so try to split if you can.

W/ gp take grasp, bone plating, revitalize, second wind, and manaflow band to use with your oranges. Just poke with grasp and sustain with corrupting pot. Farm and teamfight to win.

Bro low-key I think you're trolling me because these aren't easy matchups for yorick anymore.

"ask for a gank" because that's easy. I will try your suggestions but alot of your suggestions just dont work. Hell come back after a first back with an item and just E+wall and Q you and the lane is done, no matter who you are. Would you suggest dodging W as the best counterplay? Even if you dodge W I feel like there is no way to beat him in a duel. Nasus lvl 6 is the only real way I can possibly have a chance to win.

You're trolling me. A yorick that walks into lane and just e+w+q is handing you the lane on a golden platter.

You need to bully him when he doesn't have ghouls ready. He's like 1/2 A champion without ghouls or ult. Even if you don't dodge w, just auto it twice and walk away. Also you can use the bushes to drop aggro from his ghouls.

Yorick's Maiden isn't supposed to recall with you as far as I'm aware, which makes her annoyingly strong as a split pusher as Yorick can pop maiden in one lane and take his ghouls with him to another lane/fight.

It actually is supposed to recall with you. Sometimes what ends up happening is you start your recall with maiden waiting beside you and finish your recall. You're in base but the maiden decided to walk back to base instead of recall. Not only does maiden not heal, it doesn't follow you in a timely manner, and it will also int down the first lane it comes into contact with.

That's just one maiden bug though...

I'm going to have to ask for a source; currently the only bug I have is when Maiden is summoned outside of a lane, then she follows Yorick around. (Actually, in the tooltip for his R, I believe it even stated she will continue pushing a lane if she is summoned in one).

Most buggy thing I've noticed is his W prison, as I don't think it actually has (for lack of a better term) mechanical thickness.

And yup his wall still has a few bugs. Mostly with it stretching sometimes and sometimes not breaking vs Ornn.
