Does anyone else feel that you should be able to 1v1 Nasus at lvl 6?

... If you've killed him twice and are 20 cs ahead?

Especially as a champion who has a huge spike at 6?

Depends on your item/level advantage

20 cs lead doesn't necessarily mean you are ahead at the time of fighting

Also riven isn't really a prolonged fighter, you can take quick burst fights with here, but nasus ult is made for long fights

yup. A leveled EW with a stacked Q does a huge amount of damage. A lot of people dont realize spirit fire has -50 armor on it at rank 5.

It's lvl 6 - he doesn't have a rank 5 E.

He had about ~100 stacks, I'm not sure. Honestly, his Q shouldn't have any scaling (besides the 100% AD from being an auto) so he really relies on his stacks.

1,2,3,3,3. Dont underestimate the strength of armor reduction... seriously. Why were you even fighting a nasus who just hit his massive powerspike when you only have your jungle item?

I don't, I've played enough J4 and Wu to respect that.

Well, I also hit my massive power spike as well, and I was top with a caulfields and phage. He had a glacial shroud.

I'm constantly behind in CS in toplane. Yet I find that what matters more contributing to the other lanes, especially as Shen.

I hope I don't go against Nasus. I just don't know how to stop the guy. I mean when I play him, I get zoned like heck, when I try to zone a Nasus, I get shrekt. Lol.

you can counter nasus with ranged bullies that can keep their distance like Gnar

or you straight up beat him so hard early he will never be relevant like Darius

Other than that, if you are an AA based champion or a melee champion, he will outscale you pretty soon.

Well the only way I've been able to beat him is... well, I've managed to beat him before with Riven, but that's cuz he was dumb and let me kill him. I can't harass under tower, and it's eventually gonna push out if I cs. So....

I've also beat him with Shyvana by poking with E's, killing him early, zoning with W, and punching him when he gets too adventurous, and sometimes diving him, and taking his turret.

Also helps that he built the wrong item in the beginning and went back to sell them so he was even more down in gold from that (he had giants belt/Chain vest and sold them for Kindlegem/Spectre's Cowl.)

It doesn't metter. Nasus needs 1 tank item and decently stacked Q to kill anyone 1v1 at 6 except you are overfed. Even if he is behind in kills but his Q is fine he is hard to deal with. I remember one gane long time ago, my top killed him once and had CS lead, I was 3/0 Kha'Zix jungle and I went top. One single Nasus Q chunked down half of my HP and I was like..."Get the hell outta here bug" xD

Its almost as if youre a squishy in a -50armor AoE with a wither on them and a free-farm nasus attacking you... "Im an assassin i should be able to 100-0 everyone if im a little ahead"

I did not say that I should assassinate him tho. I am just talking about Nasus stacked Q. I know that assassin should not be able to 1v1 Nasus.

Yeah.... cept he didn't have a decently stacked Q... or a finished tank item (I think he had the item 3024 ) while I had item 3133 + item 3134 )

I don't, but it gets me low enough that I heavily lose the trade and cant go in again, and by the time I can he's already got his ult back up.

You were a Riven; with your mobility and CC, Nasus shouldn't be able to fight you with his ultimate up without you disengaging to waste it.

You can just keep trading to harass him down until he either has to leave or risk death.

Though, if you just shoved Nasus under tower the entire game and let him free-farm there, you deserved what you got.

20 CS by level 6 against a nasus doesn't mean much. Nasus has almost no way to trade with you early levels and his force to use the one spell he maxes first to farm minions. That's like saying well I'm ahead of veigar mid and I've only let him get 150 AP from the laning phase with his Q so he shouldn't be able to kill me.

Well it's not like he's been able to stack his Q constantly. Aaaaand it's not like he gets a stack every time he hits me with his Q.

Veigar would have to get ~100 cs with his Q to get 150 AP (the other 50 from poking you) (just rough guesses)... so.... not really sure what you mean.
