Bot Lanes Slaves.

Is there a reason why I feel like I am just bot lanes slave now?

Like I win games where I go and camp my bot lane as a mid.

I lose games where I don't go camp my bot lane and my enemy laner did.

Then you need to get the Top Lane involved as well. Soon the junglers also come up. Now you have a 5 on 5 bot lane match in which the game is completely decided right then and there.

For me as a late game DPS mage main, why do I get this feeling that Ryze isn't suppose to be as late game as EVERY single adc?

Oh right, because he isn't anymore.

Ryze can't even enter the ADC's range to do his spells. He has to hope that they walk by somewhere that is unwarded and can get a kill.

The very fact that everyone is now bot lanes slaves is fucking horrid. It removes the idea of skill from the game. The only person that has to be skilled now is your ADC and Support.

At the end of the day, if you try to play any hyper carry champions they will get gutted and thrown to the side after they are/were in the limelight.

Prime Examples: Ryze, Cass, Azir, Viktor. These are just mid lane examples. But I am pretty sure some top laners and junglers will bring up some good old jungle nidalee or good ole poppy top/ GP top. Where are they now? Right in the trash because riot only believes in allowing ADC's to be existent.

The worse part about all of this is, this has nothing to do with the ADC mains.

This has all to do with Riots overall bad balancing over the years completely catching up now.

Assassin Meta, made ADC's weak. So ADC's get buffed. Then we get transitioned into Tank Meta AGAIN, Tanks can't be one shoting ADC's so ADC Items get buffed again. Mage Meta comes around, remove some core functionality from mage items like RoA's old passive, DFG (which would be a decent item now for late game), Put all of that into one item like Morellonomicon. Effectively removing the ADC late game counterparts in the APC side of things.

So I don't even blame the ADC mains. They were just playing their roles. I don't blame the assassins. I don't blame the tanks.

It is just riot being bad at balancing.

Also Bot lane WILL always be camped because two people are at bot.

So, Theorex what is your solution to this current snowball problem?!

1: Remove first tower gold. Remove it, we don't need that. A team shouldn't be rewarded more than what they already get. Because they are most likely going to get two kills, and a tower from bot lane. + Map Pressure.

2: Buff All Towers to slow down the ridiculous snowball speed. Make T3 towers the easiest to get, then make them progressive get harder.

So top and mid outer tower get 50% damage reduction buff for the first 8 minutes, and bot lane get the damage reduction buff for 6 minutes.

Inner towers get 50% damage reduction AT ALL towers until 13 minutes.

Inhib Tower gets it until 15 minutes. But also get a laser.

3: Make Rift Herald Disable that passive for 15 seconds after ramming it. To still allow snowballing but objective snowballing.

"This slows down gameplay too much!"

True, but it also encourages rotations, and playing as a team vs one team gets ahead in one lane and snowballs out of control with no real coordination. At least with this teams are forced to play together a bit more.

Riot specifically wanted to make lane rotations NOT the default. This is the reason given in the patch that implemented tower first blood:

Laneswapping (while difficult to pull off) has become the formulaic ‘default’ strategy for teams in the professional scene. Having a go-to strategy isn’t wrong by any means, but the prevalence of laneswaps has all but removed direct conflict from the early stages of the game. We believe games of League should be won by interacting with your opponents, and while laneswapping is certainly a kind of interaction, its prevalence has removed almost all early-aggression strats from viability.

But the thing is, that is on a pro level. Where teams or organized and have played with each other for a least a few months.

You can't expect the same level results from teams with no comms and that are not training day in and out.

Also, Rift would still allow for taking those towers since it disables the passive.

Well do you think you could have done a better job than Riot in the long run?

I can't and I honestly believe you can't

Its about Urgency.

Things like Ardent Censor shouldn't have happened at a world stage. They admitted it, but they are too afraid to over nerf things now.

I would rather something be nerfed into the group and built up. Then Buffed into meta, and then shit on out of the meta for years.

At least when people see you working on a champion its wouldn't feel like you were blindsided.

Some buffs are questionable, unneeded, or just ridiculous.

While some nerfs are a joke, does not solve the initial problem, or don't happen. (Duskblade)

Its not about if I could do it better, its about the method that they are using.

This whole meta thing isn't working out. Every time we have done it, it screws up everything in the game.

Then they have to buff other things. Its as I have said, a really bad design to continue to pursue.

Assassins > ADC; ADC gets slight buffs. Tanks > Assassins, tanks can kill ADC; ADC get slight buffs. Supports feel unimpactful or weak, ADC's get a slight buff.

The whole meta thing that they push on the player base is really dumb.

It is basically saying. "Play this champion to win, because we made them slightly stronger. So if you and your opp. are on the exact same skill level. Your opp will win."

What type of a game model is that?

What did they expect by removing the defense from the duo lane turret? That should be the one with the double protection not the opposite.
