Wheres my counterplay to riven rito? hit her when the shields down? funny, that things on a 5 second cooldown and scales with AD!.

She has super high mobility, and super high damage, oh and really strong damage mitigation with shield and lifesteal.

Did I mention she ALSO has escapes? What about her two CC's? 2 mini knockups, a big knockup and a stun? oh! but im supposed to be able to make that damage I do through the shield stick? hows that?

she decides to engage, takes half your healthbar, but hey, if you can poke her enough before that 5 seconds is back up, you might trade even?

Riot, you have been smacking the hell out of champions in the name of counterplay, or paying for thier utility.

Wheres my riven nerfs? wheres my "she has to pay for all her tools", no? nothing? fucking great, love to hear how we like super strong champions that negate all but the top 5. Diversity is not your strong suit. Im going to go play Gigantic now, at least that game gives me options.

Riven has life steal? No. Garen / Renekton out bully her, Irelia beats her, sounds like you're playing the wrong champions or need to work on your positioning and trading.

This is such a lame and old, empty argument. Who needs lifesteal when you have a kit tailor made to killing your lane opponent? Spoiler: If you just kill your lane opponent? You don't need lifesteal. Simple as that. And not that she can't be beaten but there are few too many champs incapable of doing so. She needs either mana or energy to cripple her extreme mobility options in lane.

I made one of these earlier. Watch how people storm in here to tell you you're wrong and downvote every post you make because they're butthurt because they see it all the time. I'm on your side. No champ needs infinite escapes and 1v1 potential.

Lifesteal? lets look at Rivens build path, uh: step 1: Brutalizer: now have free and low CD mobility, stuns, and shield, next item? Ravenous hydra? Waveclear X2 and Lifesteal! now we get an even BIGGER shield, and lifesteal to shore it up!

point is, there is no contradictory build save for AP. and even that may have a ratio in there somewhere.

If I have to pick specific champions in the HOPE of winning the lane, then the champion is too strong.

If she had mana costs for all that power? she might be balanced, but right now shes nigh impossible to deal with

Some champions are stronger in lane than most others but still have counters. Others, like Riven, you farm safely and get jungler help. Then when team fights happen she does her combo and... then she's spent. Stun, snare her, she can't do anything until her abilities come back and a half organised team can end her before that happens.

I'm not saying she's easy to play against but not many champions are.
