The Buff Sion Needs

The only buff sion needs is a fucking steering wheel.

If his ult was hit able on more than the other immobile tanks in the game, he might actually be worth something because look at that : kit cohesion.

currently his entire game plays around that ult, if in jungle, he doesnt gank well until ult, if in toplane, he doesnt split well until ult. if the core of his identity is the fuck you choo choo then wouldnt it make sense to have it be the only goddam thing in his kit that he can actually reliably manipulate? his Q is easily cancelable, has a long cast for what your looking for, the nerfs to his shield make it essentially useless and his winrate as games go on pretty much proves that he isnt the late game god a stacking champ should be, his E is there, but also a reason he got nerfed out of existance in top lane, so please

GIVE HIM A FUCKING STEERING WHEEL.

if he can steer his ult with a response time better than the bus missing its back-wheels at it tries to avoid colliding with a gas station, then maybe his kit might feel good for the 2 FUCKING SECONDS of realizing his champ identity and a piece of shit with the greatest negative feedback as a player. <seriously, its not fun to play "can my opponent move faster than 300 move-speed to the left or right" and his shields not even a factor, neither is his scaling considering his low as shit base health scaling>

seriously. get some traction tires, a steering wheel and let him feel good ONCE in a team-fight. right now he feels useless all game.

Idea: Sion now holds his arms out to clothesline cowardly champions with small hitboxes

It would make sense if they gave him more turning speed at the beginning of his ult. He isn't running fast at all at that point, so he really shouldn't turn that much slower than he does normally. I'm fine with having a slower turn speed at the end of his ult, because that's when he's running fast and when his collision does the most damage.

I would like to see Sion press R and then start running in circles

He's in a bad spot due to meta changes. He gets stomped in lane by the meta toplaners like Fiora, GP, Graves, Quinn, Malphite and Naut.

He also doesn't have solid initiation against mobile champions, he's in the same train as Cho and Maokai where toplane stopped being a hospitable place for them, their ganking is mediocre and their teamfight is weak against mobility.

I don't get this Sion buff popularity, is this a high elo thing?

Whenever I've faced him he's unkillable and does decent damage. His mobility is pretty low but he can literally survive a 3 man gank.

Must just be above my skill level, either way I really don't like facing him :P

I agree with you. Sion just feels bleh right now. I want to like him, but his kit is just screwing himself over.

Sion is not even weak right now. He just takes some skill to play. He's not a champion you can just pick into any matchup and do well with if you're not familiar with him.

Would just like to point out another early-game champion with stacking is Kindred. Or rather, if you look at them and Sion's winrate over time, it starts high, dips down in the mid-late game, then starts to climb back up. I kinda like the idea of them being good early and late, but bad mid. Like Tristana.

If his ult was more reliable they would have to nerf the numbers on it and that would be sad... ;(
