How to play at top?

Hey guys! From the question its pretty obvious that I am a bronze player. At the moment I can play mid lane, jungle and support. Whenever I try to play top, I always lose my fights as I do not know when to go all in and I just feel isolated up there. Not only that, whenever I try a top lane champ I always fail at it. I would really like your help on this matter. I really want to increase my elo as I have been stuck in bronze for more than a season.

P.S. I am a support main, if it might help in answering my question and main . ( My first champ to reach lvl7 [slayer-pantheon-thumbs] )

What top laner are you playing? If you just play Malphite get a item 3068 item 3110 item 3025 item 3001 item 3047 item 3143

By just getting items it wont work. I have no idea how to engage or run away. How to farm and all the necessities

First of all, keep the brush near the river entrance perpetually warded and make sure to take backs only when you need them, since you'll get shoved in so hard since it's so far away from your fountain.
