It leads me to ask - is he viable played as a support?

Well kill lanes are the in thing atm so it would likely work but you would need to snowball

Save yourself the hassel and just roll face leona, she does the exact same thing you want to do as lee sin but alot easier

Coming from a guy who plays off meta aggro support I would say no. I've never really been a lee sin fan in elos bronze-low plat b/c of his high skill cap and him falling off. You can try it, see how it goes though.

I've made it work b4 in norms, but I wouldnt recommend it, least not for ranked. Lee sin needs items to do any damage and he doesnt have enough utility to justify his kit without it.

It seems to work just fine! His E's amazing for chasing, his Q does scaling damage, and his W shield is actually really good, esp. with Locket and/or Redemption. Don't get me started on how useful his R is for kicking the ADC into your team. He seems just fine as a support, though his early-midgame is hard.

yes he is ok i must be fair and better tell you that i didnt try it after runechange´s but before he was. Best adc he works with is ashe. worked until high diamond.
