Nah man. Give Azir back the ability to expend a soldier to damage a turret.

We here at Riot Games have noticed that Yasuo players no longer go beyond rank 1 in their windwall even at level 18. This became a trend after Summoner Hammermancer posted the shocking news that Windwall dealt no damage on a website we forgot even existed.

To fix this Windwall now deals 4/8/12/16/20 (+.15 AD) damage every half second to enemies in its radius. Damage is increased by 75% against champions. This damage can crit.

Yay just what we needed! More balance suggestions from players who can't punish a yasuo even when he wastes abilities.

For real though, there's no need for this. Just get good.

If Yasuo is under your tower, hit him. If he uses his wall to stop you from hitting him, kill him when he tries to cs. There, I didn't even charge you. You're welcome.

Why are so many arguments about "X champion is fine" based on a person playing them being a monkey? Yes, a bronze Yasuo will waste Windwalls (as hard as it is to waste that skill, since you can literally panic-cast it in the completely opposite direction than that of an incoming missile and it will still intercept it due to starting as a 360 degree protection). Windwall is a reactive skill, and that's how a good Yasuo player will use it - to react to a big threat instead of throwing it to intercept a random Karthus autoattack. You're the one wasting abilities against the Windwall in skilled hands, not the other way round.

We're talking about the champion that can travel about half the lane with targeted dashes in a second ...

Idk, seems unintuitive and a bit too specific.

Towers ignore his windwall no?

Your point? [slayer-jinx-unamused]

That it's toxic for ranged champions to be forced to put themselves in harm's way to punish Yasuo for being too aggressive and greedy, as Windwall's duration is very long for what it does. It also blocks all projectiles, so even ranged champions can get stiffed by a windwall under a tower. It's why Azir's soldiers have reduced duration under towers, to prevent some of his long-range safe harass and poke.

EVERYBODY should be putting themselves in harm's way to punish their lane opponents. If you want ranged champions to be able to poke Yasuo without taking any risk, you need to uninstall this game ASAP lol.

If windwall is something that yasuo must have no matter what at least give windwall HP so it can be destroyed.

I was talking about this with my friends who play League and we realized that this could cause issues with targeted abilities like Veigar ult that deal damage based on the targets health on hit (presumably) getting intercepted by a new target (windwall) with a potential different health value. I personally support having windwall be destroyable, but there would probably be spaghetti code issues with such a change.

Really it probably wouldn't be that bad to code it. It's not such a big feature in the scope of the whole game. But, even as an avid Veigar player, I do think it is important that you can counter a skill like Veigar's ult. Contrary to the norm I don't actually think Yasuo's windwall is such a bad thing to have in the game. But, it should be more of a kit-defining ability than it is. For me Yasuo is mainly an issue because of his infinite dashes. If you change his dashes to have a meaningful CD then you can leave most of the rest of the power in his kit. Although far simpler, Vayne is a much better designed champion I think. Yasuo does not need both passives as well as the windwall + dashes, that's at least 3 aspects of his kit that are very powerful. Most other champs have only 1-2.

it can act like ward 3 hits and its down no matter what damage, but i still thinks yasuso should not have windshield and have tornado on on separate ability instead

Why not.

It looks fair for the enemy and not crumbling for Yasuo.
