Why aren't jungle items like devoure?

develop into something else after you kill a certain amount of jungle monsters for example idk

warrior gets you an extra 50 AD if you kill 30 jungle monsters.

Cinderhulk grants you an extra 500 health if you kill 30 jg monsters

runeglaive grants an extra 60 AP if you kill 30 jg monsters.

i mean. they're just not efficient at all. and have gimped passive. the immolate on the cinderhulk is less potent than the one on sunfire cape. and the spellblade on the runeglaive is not as good as the one on lich bane

I feel like they'd have an easier time designing a non-abusive AS-based jungle item if they didn't insist on it having to stack up off of monsters, which makes its relative strength hard to adjust.

I mean, Feral Flare was an issue. Sated Devourer is sometimes considered to be an issue, depending on who you ask. And any version of the items that doesn't have any stack cap has its own problems when it comes to "farm jungle until you can either 1v5 or your team already lost the game".

but lets be real here. any of the jungle items other than devoure are extremely inefficient. even cinderhulk. 15% more health.thats a joke. I'd rather get something with armor and health or MR. its not like you have hard time jungling by the time you finish your jg item so that you need this monster bonus damage from them thats not worth at all.

i don't get why people even finish any of them other than devoure.

or just make them cheaper. so that they are of use when you actually have trouble jungling.

Warrior and devourer are gold efficient.

Cinderhulk and Runeglaive are terribad and less than even 80% gold efficient. I believe Cinderhulk is 60% gold efficient and Runeglaive 70%. In fact they're so bad, if you're playing a tank jungler it's better to go Sunfire after Machete and have better stats.

Because they are efficient.

you don't get my point here

I understand your point perfectly.

You just don't understand item design.

what is there to be understood other than the numbers?

The value of utility and passives.

Warrior's already efficient.

Cinderhulk's immolate is less effective than is Sunfire's because it comes with a 15% health boost, which is kind of insane. That means that a tank will have 3k Health with just Cinderhulk, Warmog's and a Ruby Crystal (if you're not running runes or certain masteries)

Runeglaive's spellblade passive is less powerful than is Lichbane's becasue Runeglaive has a mana regaining functionality which makes it efficient in the jungle. It's the only AP item that gives back mana on hit.

When you add something to an item in addition to a similar effect, that effect has to be less potent to balance out the gold efficiency. Otherwise you get lane champions buying jungle items and doing the jungler's job better.
