In what world are big tanky characters allowed to be obnoxiously fast? They can just charge everyone and not take a lot of damage

There's this magical thing called CC, almost any form of CC makes it impossible for Uydr to ever reach you.

It's all about power budget - you give some things up to get something in return.

Hecarim's damage is kind of low for being a tanky DPS and his CC isn't that impressive for a tank, sticking him in a "meh" spot between both rolls where he's more mobile but not quite as imposing when he does get within range.

As for Udyr: Calling him fast is really misleading, because he's one of the more immobile and easily kited characters in the game. Having a mediocre MS boost with a steep mana cost doesn't mean "obnoxiously fast". It just means not as slow as Anivia. Essentially all other types of mobility are better than what Udyr has.

Come late game though he can just spam it though and nobody can catch him, for the record this isn't a QQ thread, I get that both these champions have legitimate downsides.

Mm... but I feel like you don't respect the downsides.

I will agree with you on one thing; a fed hecarim or udyr is annoying beyond all reason. But being annoying isn't broken. They have plenty of counterplay and I think they're fine.

In the same magical world that allows magic, magic spells, magic items, non humans, ect. Need I say more?

Came expecting a "the majority of their late game damage comes from abusing Triforce"

Was somewhat disappointed.
