What level do I have to be to not to be considered new to the game?

In some posts where I explain my opinion on things get's ignored because "you're level 30 still" "you're new, what do you know about the game?"

First off i'm not new, secondly what level is considered to be the average now a days?

Level doesn't really matter. Rank does.

Rank doesnt matter either, whatever argument you present is all that matters. Deflecting because of level or rank is just using logical fallicy instead of presenting a proper counterpoint.

Well it's not false to say that high ranked players have more gameplay experience and knowledge, so when it comes to gameplay discussions, rank matters indeed.

Not really. If the higher ranked person does indeed have the better knowledge in the argument, their counter argument should be able to stand without falling back on "lol im silver youre bronze bud".

Well... If levels worked this way since the beginning im pretty sure MANY people would be WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY over lvl 300. Considering that lvls before 30 are nothing more than tutorial... It really understandable that people would dismiss your opinion. Only rank could compensate for that -_- It would be like saying - yea im new but i know what im doing.

I would be around level 1000. Or higher. It's hard to guess cause I don't fully understand the level progression. But I have easily 4-5k games in my lifetime. On just summoners rift. In normals I think I have 1.6k wins last k checked.

So, you need a power level over 9,000? [zombie-brand-mindblown]

Depends. Are you new to mobas? If so, youll likely need a few years. If youre used to mobas, maybe 6 months or so.

Not really new, played a fair amount of Dota 2 and played league for 3.5 years.

Then theyre not that bright for assuming youre new.

I don't know about levels (I took a 6 month break and barely getting back into the game), but from personal experience ~2.5 years of playing this game if it's your first MOBA would be about when you're not quite new anymore.

If people are ignoring your arguments or ideas based on rank/being new ignore them. Its how they feel good about themselves.

With this community, higher than the person you're talking to.

LoL's one of those "X games to learn; Y games to master"

It's designed to be a sport, so not being new to basketball isn't the same as being good at it. With this clarification in mind, I'd say level 20.
