I am getting bored of League

I am getting bored of committing hours to a game that has 1000's of people playing but repeatedly fails at matching up equally skilled players. I just spent over 3 hours grinding thru 4 game losses to easily beat a 5th game. 4 boring losses in which i had no chance at a victory and then the last game our team stomped the other side? How hard can it be to find 10 players in 1000 who are evenly skilled and put them into a game? Riot commits thousands of hours making the game look pretty and still the match making process looks like its been programmed on a Vic20. I am slowly losing all hope at League ever addressing this problem. There are many games I play that seem to understand match making a lot more then Riot. In a good game you are supposed to loose as many games as you win and each one is a challenge .. A good game understands this and accounts and adjusts for streaks of wins or losses. A trashy game doesn't care about your wins and losses and just explains it away as chance. Well anyone who knows anything about programming understands that in programming there is no such thing as Random and the term "Chance" is just a programmer making excuses for weak code. Get your crap together Riot.

It's either:

A.) They can't matchmake

B.) The game is too snowbally.

Neither of these are good for Riot.

" I am slowly losing all hope at League ever addressing this problem." I'm sorry friend, but then you've been living under a rock. Recently Riot addressed the problems they - and the community - have spotted about the Ranked and matchmaking system. In the next season of League, matchmaking will be a lot more balanced, as you'll be judged on the role you play and not how you play overall. This means that if I'm a God jungler and I have an insane MMR and I get autofilled to my worst role, let's say support, then it will no longer assume I have the same skill-level when I play that role.

If League is pissing you off on a regular basis, then I have a few words of advice:

  1. Stop playing. Why would you waste time doing something you dont really enjoy?
  2. Take a short break, maybe your perspective on your game will change.
  3. Wait for the next season and see if you enjoy the game then.

Whatever you chose I hope the best for you. ^^

Lost my last 7 games, and I went from usually getting A's to straight C's. Sometimes the stacks just are against you. I still think it's fun and a few days from now, I won't even remember the losses.

You're also very very high-level. So the "dating pool" for you will get smaller and smaller. Essentially you're the equivalent of a doctor with a double-PhD in League and gaming in general, and their algo's having a hard time finding a way to balance out the games.
