Honorable Gaming
I believe Honorable gaming begins with how you approach the game you are playing. Are you respectful of the people you are playing with and act as a team? Are you keeping negative emotions from your day out of the game, not trying to extract revenge for how you feel? Are you stopping yourself from singling out and blaming your team for a loss you might take? Are you ending the game with a positive comment and not just trying to spam "gg" as fast as you can? I believe the Honorable path is to enjoy the game by trying to pull off killer in-game moves and commending others for doing so as well. I believe the Dishonorable path is to enjoy the game by trying to make other people feel bad in order to feel better about ourselves..
Ultimately each of us will decide the fate of any game we play. If the Toxicity of the game is too high then new players will not attempt to stick around long enough to learn the game with other, less toxic games available. I believe that Honorable gaming is one of the few ways that any game will survive and that everyone involved, from the staff at Riot as well as the Players, are responsible for.
No one can make another play honorably. All a player can hope for is to inspire Honorable gaming by example and voice your opinion against dishonorable gaming. Below are a few quotes I have created to try to inspire Honorable gaming. please feel free to use them or maybe come up with some of your own.
<Hard LOSS> **Here we stand, having been given the opportunity to prevail against difficult odds and regardless of outcome, regretting nothing and honoring all. **
<Hard WIN> May the only reward be the acknowledgement that today, having battled against difficult odds, we few are honored to have been part of this Great Battle.
<Alt> Honor: Yourself, by only seeking challenging competition, Your opponent, to qualify your skill in their defeat, The Game, by allowing your only reward to be participation in a Great Battle.
