Why is the game so happy to match the same people together multiple times in a row?

Apparently if the same people all requeue they can get matched against eachother multiple times in the absence of a better quality matchup as judged by the system.

I had a very unpleasant match with a toxic player telling me to kill myself IRL for being unskilled, etc etc and when i requeue, i get the exact same team mates including the exact same toxic person I just reported. Why is this allowed to happen?

So basically, I was forced to dodge and lose some LP because the system decided to put the same three players together, because the results of the ensuing match would be completely predictable.

Because you all go into the queue again at the same moment.

Don't you think the system should prevent this sort of thing? I've played games where the system specifically avoids matching the same people together, e.g. it will choose waiting longer over putting the same people together.

No, because not everyone feels like that. Since you are willing to wait longer, than why not wait a couple of minutes after a match?

Best advice for post toxic games, take a break for 15 minutes, get a quick snack, drink some water, talk to friends and family, walk around. Just do what ever centers you and when you come back you are statistically unlikely to see the toxic team again.

A lot of competitive PVP games are like this.

I guess it's just random, i think it happened to me 2 or three times in over 2000 games

I can't confirm this 100%, and i'm too lazy to check sources, but if you report players, the system will avoid matching them with you. I think you can report them for unskilled, which doesn't imply direct consequences like a ban, but will impact their matchmaking level.

Thats your own fault? Why would you click reQ immediately if there were toxic players in your last game?

ive gone on losing streaks, becuase of this, i get either a toxic team mate, or WORSE, i get a salty as fuck enemy from my last game, who wants to "teach me a lesson" and make me lose a game for beating them the game before. No joke, the reason I stopped dodging, is that one guy, (that i care to remember) litterally, waited 5 minutes, just to make sure he could get on my team to troll me, and it worked TWICE, in a row, he waited, 5 and then 15, and we got paired, FOUR TIMES.
