So I know there's a million of these, but I placed g3 at the end of the season. Played my promos, went 8-2. Placed silver 4.
Last season I went 7-3 and I placed in g5. What gives? 6 whole divisions after only losing 2 games (My 3rd and my 5th)?
From what I've heard, there was an error with the reset and it didn't work as intended. Instead of getting a soft reset with base mmr based on your previous rating, it might have been reset to 1200 (Silver V). This could be wrong, I'm just getting told this by a friend who talks to a few rioters, but considering the stories I've heard, it sounds possible.
Really need some riot word on this kinda dumb how previous seasons I was able to get back somewhat near my rank with 6/4 win ratio while this season I dropped 5 whole tiers like wut.
