Can we get a QSS upgrade for AP champs?

I've been reading that in higher elos, QSS becomes mandatory in some games where you need the self-cleanse effect of it. Unfortunately, QSS builds only into AD items. That means AP champs and any AP-scaling tanks can't really justify upgrading the item. While I acknowledge there is the powerful zhonya's, zhonya's also roots you in place for a few seconds which leads to the occasional case where popping it while you are CCed is just going to delay the inevitable. While QSS doesn't protect you from damage, it also doesn't impede your mobility and as I said.

So I'd like to ask riot to consider giving QSS some kind of AP scaling champ friendly upgrade for QSS.

Advantages:

1. QSS becomes more and more core at higher elos, so AP champs up there might need this upgrade more.
2. Players in lower elo might notice and use it more, promoting better gameplay.
3. Different form of protection than zhonya's, they don't quite step on each others toes.
4. It'd give AP champs a non abyssal AP/MR option.
5. Getting CCed for days is one of the worst feelings in the game. AD champs can get out of it without being rooted in place, but AP champs can't. AP mids also can rarely justify getting mercs treads as they tend to need either sorc shoes or cdr boots so I feel like they need something else to go to when CC is an issue in game.
6. If another rioter wants to have an in game item named after them, here's your chance.
7. If the enemy team has access to too much CC, AP champs are left buying an item with limited slot efficiency compared to an AD champ. ADCs can always upgrade to while AP champs are left with a plain .
8. It may be a better option for mobile AP champs, depending on the final form, who might not want to be in the middle of a fight while zhonya's can be focused on immobile champs and those who want to activate an ability and then pop zhonya's.
