Plans for unused items?

There are a lot of items in the game right now that are going next to completely unused. They are never purchased within the first 3 items of anyone's build (save Ryze...) and barely ever purchased afterwards, maybe just to troll save perhaps Warmog's:

item 3027 item 3004 item 3083 item 3905 item 3003

**This bugs me to no end. **Does Riot have any upcoming plans for these or are they just doomed items that will never see the light of day again? I hope preseason at least does something with these items so that they're remotely usable.

Does anyone actually use elixirs? I completely forgot they existed until I saw the "use an elixir" mission

Lots of champs use Rod of Ages, like Swain and Aurelion Sol.

Muramana is often built on Ezreal. Personally, I think this item is really underappreciated.

Warmong's is a pretty good fantasy tank item. It's at least considered by every champion that can reach its threshold.

Twin Shadows is often picked up by Glacial Augment users, and is a great item for any AP support.

Seraph's is hella popular, I don't know what you're smoking. Every Tear champ runs it, and it can be a great pick on nearly every squishy AP champion that could use an extra Barrier.
