"Inting" players should forfeit their ability to vote no in an FF vote

Worst JG Wins··20 votes·4,656 views

Currently as it stands people who are AFK for long enough lose their right to vote no during an FF vote. I think people who are turbo feeding should also, players who have more then .5 Deaths per minute should loss their right to vote no. It makes zero sense for a player to be worse for the team then an AFK to have the ability to be toxic and hold people hostage in a game that has little or no chance for a comeback.

Inting or not, if you have 8+ deaths at the 15 minute mark, you basically lost your team the game with how snowbally the current meta is

So yea, some people shouldn't get to vote if you ff or not

gotta love it , creates a post , ends it with "discuss" and i try to ask questions to figure out how well thought out is the process of detecting inters etc and i get told i didnt read his post, and that im downvoting it, and im getting downvoted for trying to"discuss" the topic.

You asked a question that's answered in the OP after not reading before commenting. You're just spaming

MrFawknSunshine5 votes

no im asking how would you detect it, cuz jsut deaths per min dont indicate inting.

i asked you how do you define "inting"

as far as deaths per min as you .5 per min at what point do you take this calculation into account? at 15 mins? 20?

cuz if lets say its a jungler that gets invaded and killed lvl 1 1st blood then he goes back into jungle and gets killed again thats like .5 deaths per min at like 3 mins in.

i mean they notion of 0.5 deaths per min is so vague. and you arent taking into account the players actions . getting killed and camped isnt inting. playing bad isnt inting.

so that is why i asked what do you define as inting,.

You're really annoying

I define what i meant in the OP. .5 deaths per minute. You can't FF vote till 15 and i would round up. 8 deaths at 15 or 16, 9 deaths if the vote is at 18 so on and so on.

MrFawknSunshine5 votes

but you didnt define what INTING is you basing it only on amount of deaths with no context

you call me annoying but you want to discuss your idea , its half baked. we are discussing it.

its not an echo chamber where everyone is going to blindly agree and upvote

If someone has fed 0.5 kills per minute, that game is NOT winnable, and that person is NOT ready for Ranked at ANY level.

LordGeovanni1 votes

So if you ever have a bad game or the enemy ever decided to focus you. you arent ready for ranked. Despite that you can be 0.5 per minute but still pushing towers late game versus an ally who has the most kills on the team and refuses to push so despite them seeming well in kd they arent actually contributing to the win. This also doesnt do anything for champions that are more likely to get kills versus champions that are more likely to die. Like a mage who is more likely to get kills and a tank who is more likely to die than other classes. Ud have to then vary for classes where an adc and assassin cant have more than 0.2 deaths per minute because they are more easily defendable classes versus an assassin with a 0.4 a fighter with a 0.6 and tank with 0.8

You CLEARLY misunderstood something at some point here. I'm not saying anything about having a KDA of 0.5, I'm saying if someone is dying on average 2 times per minute. Take into account things like greyscreen time and time running back to lane, and dying twice in one minute is actually something you have to work towards.

To have a competitive mode there has to be some threshold for punishably bad playing, or the whole system loses value. You should not be allowed to ruin others' games with lasting score changes just because you can't be bothered to try that game. If you are legitimately dying twice every minute on average (and not just stacking MS and running it down to the enemy tower) then you have either picked up a champion for the first time into their hardest counter played by a onetrick (in which case why are you first-timing in Ranked, especially without having at least glanced at a guide first), or you have no concept of how to play even remotely safe and are going to keep feeding the enemy for the entire game through sheer bloody-minded stubborn-ness and belief that you can make no mistake.

I'm not saying roll this out to Normals or Bots, because there has to be learning space somewhere, but to come into Ranked and manage to die that much, you deserve a ban for what you are doing to the poor bastards who are forced onto your team and their MMR+LP.

LordGeovanni1 votes

Plz quote me saying kda of 0.5 i know exactly what you said and refred to excatly what you said. But i also said that The rate at which your champion will die will vary because if your role and which champions are powerful in the meta. you can easily 2 times a minute trying to lane versus a quinn in top lane or teemo in top lane even if you end up never leaving your tower range (which is stupid becaus then you get denied exp in addition to your gold now you dont even get the base stats to defend you.) Not every champion has range or aoe damage to easily farm under tower and some champions that do are limited by small mana pools. What im saying is that your formula cant prove inting (as inting is a mind set not just gameplay actions). And if you punish people for doing badly score wise you end up just making solo que even worse because no one wants to get banned for protecting allies because they might die. you just get even more adcs fed out their mind but not touching the enemy tower becuase what if i die those 125 melee champions not walking up to the tower to auto in but are pushing the entire enemy team to the back of tower range and are body blocking for me so i wont touch the tower either despite my 400+ range that can easily safely shred this tower.

camp top lane dive him constantly hes a a 10 death spree at 15 minutes the enemy FF's despite that the top isnt worth gold after his second death becuase tilted idiots only look at numbers without context into how they actually impact the game.

well they would need to create a system that detect "INTERS " in game.

and what is your definition of someone who is "INTING" ?

i read your post. i dont upvote or down vote

so if you werent aware accounts that are below lvl 30 on the boards can not upvote nor downvote.

so the amount of deaths per min instead of actual actions ?

Saezio2 votes

Wouldn't inters just simply stay under 1 death per 2 mins? It's not that hard?

Also, do kills/assists count for anything? What if I am 8/8/0 at 15 mins? Do I get a vote? And if I do, I should also get a vote at 0/8/8.

MrFawknSunshine1 votes

yet i ask questions and get told i dont understand what his point is or how it would work and get told im annoying and downvoted for discussing the topic with the creator

Some would some wouldn't. But in either scenario i think it would be an improvement over the current system.

Nah, but i think if you're 8/8/0 your team is probably not in a spot where they're gonna FF at 15 anyways.

Saezio2 votes

Why does the 0/5/0 player get a vote but the 8/8/0 player doesn't ? Doesn't that seem really weird to you?

Can you come up with a KDA variant that would make sense? cause i totally could see a Nasus with a ton of stacks being 0/1/0 at 15 being the strongest champ in the game but if it was based off KDA he wouldn't get a vote. Which too me seems awful and i'm not fine with that. On the other hand i'm fine with the 8/8/0 player not getting a vote.

You can't create a perfect system IMO you can only look to make improvements, the one i suggested makes the most sense too me.

In a situation where there's a surrender vote at all (which implies that at least 20% of the people on the team would rather not keep playing), I can see some sense in what you're saying.

  • Teammate is "inting"
  • More than one teammate votes "no"
  • You think they're doing it just to spite you.

Maybe they are doing it just to spite you... because you're a toxic ass who's been flaming them for "inting" when they just suck. Nobody literally ints games and then votes no to surrender. Ever. That's not a thing. But people DO vote no just because they have an asshat on their team who they want to punish. Stop being a flamer and you won't have spiteful teammates voting no on a lost game's surrender vote.

If you are AFK for an extended period of time you wont gain LP in a win and you can't vote no. This is just a fact.

So basically you're toxic and you want to be toxic to other people while you're hard feeding? Yup sounds exactly like what i'm talking about and exactly why this would reduce toxicity in league. There is 5 players in the game If my Sup Janna main ints and my ADC flames her for inting why should she be able to keep the MID+TOP+JG hostage for 5 extra mins and vote no.

Because your other 3 team members are always blameless angels, and it's always the person who just wants to move on to an actually winnable game at fault.....

Seriously dude, you didn't even try to think before calling OP out.

Just take out the word "ever" and make another attempt at hyperbole instead. In its current form, your response is just wrong from the perspective of anyone who has actually experienced this firsthand (and I know for a fact that at least one person has).

Trolls and inters rarely reach such impressive thresholds anyway.

Easy no. You have no capability of detecting inting. Inting has no correlation to deaths over time.

It's not about if the player is "inting" use "hard feeding" "Playing bad" whatever. The whole point of "Scare quotes" in my title is i'm using "inting" for lack of a better term.

I don't want people dying a ton and being beyond useless to be able to the toxic no vote that happens way to often.

Players Forfeit the right to vote when they AFK. I think when you're doing so poorly that you have .5 Deaths per min. you should also forfeit. That kinda vote doesn't seem legitimate too me.
