Why are gameplay mods deleting threads about gameplay

Why are mods deleting threads about Yasuo? Yasuo is currently above 40% presence in master+ Yasuo is above 70% in plat+ Why are the gameplay mods treating legitimate gameplay threads about this legitimate problem as if they're rant/troll threads? Hello where else are people supposed to talk about one of the most broken champs on the current patch?

It is happening with a lot of different things. I posted a thread about the Rules and how they are vague and give incentive to abuse them and it was instantly downvoted of course. But the thing is.. there is pretty clear misuse of power (I was targeted specifically after I disagreed with a mod that posted incorrect information). And since then, I have had a thread deleted and a post deleted. Despite both actually being more valid than over 70% of what is on the forums right now.

They also removed topics about matchmaking, with stats and everything. A bit... "peculiar".

They really should be more efficient and careful, since for whatever reason these Boards don't have a simple "lock topic" option, and they can just delete the whole thread. Happy 10 year anniversary, btw :D

Better question is why AREN'T they deleting the URF threads?

Talking about Yasuo is welcome. Useless ranting, along the lines of "yasuop is obv op look at all these ability descriptions ya ikr like i said so op," is not.

To answer your question of where you're supposed to do that, that would be the RANT section.

There was a Yasuo thread yesterday with legitimate reasoning and civil discussion with almost 3 pages of replies, and it got deleted.

Hey there,

I'm not sure exactly what threads you are referencing, but I can take a look if you can provide me links. Right now the only recent removals I can find were either a sarcasm thread which was better suited to General Discussion and an actual spam thread that consisted only of "lol" in title and body.

Do you have any links to these thread so that I can better evaluate them?

In general, we do remove low effort posts that do not provide any aspects for discussion (i.e. please nerf) as well as rants which merely express frustration about a subject (i.e. Yasuo is OP wtf Rito? His kit is complete bullshit! Remove the crits from him now and gut his windwall). When we make decisions on moving content to Rant or removing for low effort, we generally consider how readers are intended to respond to the content. If a thread has really only "yeah he OP" or "nah he's not" as responses, it's probably low effort. Gameplay isn't really the sub-board for complaining, but rather discussion and suggestions for how to change things for the better as well as receive advice from the community.

Hope that helps clarify a bit

The mods are struggling to deal with the new “Rant” subboard and trying to figure out what kind of posts belong there.

The new hot phrase is “Low Effort” and these mods spit it out like crazy now. They need a chance and quick.

These boards are straight out of Orwells 1984.

First it was - No racism ... ok fine understandable. Then it was ... no arguing or fighting with each other... ok fine... Now its ... Nothing I dont agree with because it is "Low Effort"...............

What exactly is being written in the threads? Because if they are simply "nerf yasuo pls too op!" then it makes sense but it's legit constructive...then i don't know...

The threads get deleted when the chat turns to BM which is usually a trend with Yasuo hate threads.

The one you are mentioning in particular segwayed into how Yasuo is viewed differently in different regions then people decided to start attacking people of those specific regions.

crit items are changing next season so he'll be nerfed that way. ( iirc the zeal items are getting more expensive )

I seriously don't understand why everyone says yasuo is op. I don't lane much but when I do and I'm against yasuo, I don't have any big problems. I havent even seen a yasuo do good in a long while.
