Im a bad person, i want to be an unkillable tank wetnoodling a team of carries to death
Can't wait.
Can't wait.
I'd rather that happen than have the chance to die within seconds to a champ building lethality :)
I just played against a full tank maokai, u dont want tht shit
Nonono, we want to BE the maokai
Here I remember when majority of people were complaining at how boring the tank meta was, since when do people want it back?
I don't really care about whatever the community really wants, I've always had a hardon for things like Iceborn gauntlet, juggernauts, tanks, and tanky fighters
I was that guy who was like "Hell yeah tank fizz" and "Oh cool tank jayce"
"Hey look this sion rework is really fun!"
Yeah.... sorry i gave up on balance, I like walking into enemy teams and going godzilla, that's what im about
your right, a quick death is must less painful
The only people complaining about the tank meta were the ADCs because they didn't kill tanks solo in 10 seconds or less (where they should have been grateful that they were pampered even more due to their importance as the class designed specifically to kill tanks and the only ones truly suited to doing so in most cases)
Mages liked it cuz they had better peel to focus on the enemy instead of peeling themselves Assassins liked it cuz they had more impact on team fights if they took out the enemy damage Supports liked it cuz they were more important in preserving their ADC than ever Fighters liked it because they could face up against champs that weren't going to instantly blow them up, allowing their sustained damage to be more prominent and tanks loved it because for once they didn't F@@@ING DIE
The only problem present the last time "tank meta" (read as "the game in it's intended state") was the meta was that Riot made that work by buffing their damage rather than their durability and utility, leading to some awkward cases of tanks cleaning up enemy teams as one man armies (for how much I love Sion, I should not be getting pentakills on him like back during his prime just because the ADC killed themselves on my thornmail).
No, I very clearly everyone on boards including myself hating the tank meta, and I play a variety of everything. I don't know what tank meta you're talking about, but I remember champs like Ekko, Fizz, and pretty much all bruisers, building tank items because of how strong they were. The only meta there should be is objective control meta, because with any type of certain role/build meta, it will render a huge chunk of champs useless and everyone will play the same 30 or so champs
He means the real tank meta, like the cinder hulk meta in season 5. Not the cancer Ibg Sunfire meta.
That was long after Riot killed the last iteration of tank meta.
You're thinking of the bruiser meta that followed the juggernaut patch, which was one of the most cancerous metas I can remember.

its more like. when i have 4k health and 300 armor, can i live longer than 5 seconds please? teamfights shouldnt be decided in 10 seconds either.
just hope the noodles don't get too slippery and they kite you to death
Dw, they "Balanced" all the slow items so now they barely do anything :D
Maybe we'll finally get people to build a decent team comp instead of making a team of carries.
Time for full tank Karma, Soraka, and Lux to shine. :3
Nothing will stop me! -Sion I can't wait to bring the pain train to the tank update.
it won't ever happen again after the buff ;)
that little shit gona cut your armor from items to half, and then lethality will remove the other half
Can't wait to see the state of the boards and Reddit a few days after the new patch.
i'm getting constantly downvoted and disliked on eu boards for this haha its just like the camille patch. I'm telling people she's overloaded and gona be overpowered, they downvote and white knight her. Take em like a few months to "catch up"
Its gona be the same, last whisper won't be a big deal, but slowly its going up, then BIG SPIKE AND COMPLAINTS ABOUT IT haha tho now lcs is running, so, we might see the "complaints" happen faster
