That there are Champion kits, purposely designed to be overpowered, because they are gated behind skill.
Anyone else find this to be...a really dumb way to go about balance? Azir(THIS FCKING GUY IS BROKEN) Yasuo Ekko Zed Fiora etc etc etc.

Some champs are deadly in peoples hands even if they are not meta, illaoi is not meta, and if i played her i would suck but in the right hands she is DISGUSTING.
but i do get what you are saying with those champs. azir is hard to balance, and the rest you just got to live with

Meep Man1 votesWell, considering most of these champions are perfectly balanced and are more annoying than powerful really, I would have to disagree with your statement that they are balanced to be overpowered. IN FACT, most champions that end up that way are intentionally nerfed by Riot to be underpowered unless you master them, upon which they become just as good as any other champion when someone invests that much time to main them.
PhearBunny1 votesAzir can solo Baron in under 3seconds...Like, that's a fact of LoL right now. That's 350% faster than the 2nd fastest Baron killer. Imagine what he can do to your team in 3seconds? Assuming you don't all just get instantly blown up by the nuclear bomb that is his R button.

Phantom Blues1 votesSometimes you don't need to beat those champions with micro. Say if you perform better at macro, like dragon/baron control and vision, etc. I've always been mediocre mechanically, but I have faith in my knowledge and judgement :P
Xion The XIV1 votesAzir isn't that strong and most Azir's are easy to bait their skills out of. Yasuo is a joke when I see them on the enemy team I tell them I am sorry for their 4v5 handicap. Ekko is more annoying then OP. The fact he can throw his Q from a safe distance and clear waves. While also negating any damage within 3 seconds. Zed just depends. Played Kayn against a zed and we got to play who's ult killed who. (Kayn won 80% of the time) Fiora isn't hard as long as the passive isn't placed directly infront of you or at 11 or 1 . If they are on the sides hug that walls side like it was a parent.
The main problem people have is that balanced champions can be mastered easier, because they don't have a broken ass skill that 1 shots people. Or are nerfed to the point you need 10 kills to be average.
Look at Fizz or Katarina. If they get 1 or 2 kills early on that lane is dead to the enemy mid laner and JG.
