There is only 1 gold income item that doesn't upgrade to a Sightstone

item 1083

Since pretty much nobody starts with it and very few buy it later, why not let it upgrade like the support items do?

It may be better, situationally, than any of you think. riste builds it many times this year.

Anyway, please don't complain about it, or they'll just remove the item as they did with Poacher's Dirk.

Cull is intended as a sort of a Starter item, but it doesnt give enough damage/sustain so its more of a secondary partner to Doran's. You 'upgrade' Cull the same way as the Dorans - By selling it as soon as its value becomes ineffecient. In Cull's case, completing the quest pays for the entire item (350 gold reward, 100 gold obtained from the quest itself) making it a small investment for a potential 140g profit.

Upgrading it or offering a vision component kind of goes against its design, i just wish it gave +7% Attack Speed so certain Twitch Vayne Sivir could start with it over a Dblade.

What is this item?

I get it as a top lane either after my first item or during my first back. Completing its passive nets more gold than it's worth and helps with early farm when paired with a Doran's item.
