Nocturne is the worst champion in the game

I get that he's build flexible so he isn't Godtier in any specific role, assassin/Fighter/bruiser/etc and that's fair. but... Hes the worst assassin in the game. Hes a F tier fighter Hes a F tier bruiser His kit is dysfunctional in this hyperoverloaded meta. He cant even duel the things hes meant to be able to punish for being isolated.

Why would you slap useless bandaid buffs on this champion and rework Garen? Garen was 100% okay how he was. Nocturne straight up isn't even viable.

Heres a scenario that just outright is easily displayable evidence that Nocturne is horrible.

Lets say theres a Jihn with 5 items, zero armor, and Nocturne has 4 Lethality items. Doesn't matter what rune your running as Noct, if you ult to 1v1 this Jihn, the Jihn is going to beat you.

NOCTURNES WHOLE PURPOSE IS TO PUNISH ISOLATED IMMOBILE BACK LINERS AND HE CANT

Even if he was, someone has to be the worst, right

I think hes fine, infact ive been playing him lately and have had some very good luck with him. Hes very strong in the early game and with surprising opponents with his R. He can 1v1 almost any jungler in the game with a few exceptions. He can easily and I mean EASILY one shot adcs with his extreme attack speed and extra damage on his Q + attack speed with his E.

That is only one role of Nocturne. Nocturne's W buff is really good, it's effectively a 20% attack speed increase in fights. He still needs some work, but his current kit won't work with many changes. Giving him more amount of any damage would make him insanely broken.

As Nocturne you need to watch the enemy team in select and decide if Lethal Tempo would be best, or if Electrocute might fare better.

Nocturne is meant to take out isolated back lines, but he can also become a frontline if you understand a proper build path. His passive works well as a nuclear champion, as it can quickly deal damage to everyone around him. Nocturne is also used to pick off people who aren't grouped, but that only works in certain instances (trying to kill a 5 item jhin is a terrible idea). Next, if it is that late in the game and you build 4 lethality items on Nocturne, you don't know how to build him properly.

Also, as a word of advice, you fall off hysterically late game, so building back end items that give you the ability to soak up some damage is crucial. The goal of a good Nocturne in my opinion is to keep the team alive and in the game and scale up as quick as possible, with the intention of being able to keep their team in the game long enough to reach their damage potential, at which point you would have done your job. I reccommend maybe taking a look at my match history and looking at my Nocturne builds.

yeah im aware. hes bruiser/assassin flexible based on team comps. But the point is, hes bad at both.

Look at Ezreal right now. Last place for all adcs, and he just got nerfed by this genius fucking "balance" team.

Ninjas Flossing1 votes

he needs a rework not a nerf, he either does too much damage and needs to be gutted or does too little. they need to remove muramana and rework ez. period. hes an ad caster that doesnt do damage cause his kit is poorly designed. make him a proper adc

But Ahri, an easy button champ that's been at the top of the mid meta for 2 years gets a buff to an already toxic charm. Again this balance team is not smart, particularly good at their jobs, or make decisions based on whats good for gameplay.

Noc is good right now, but they know his kit needs redesign and he was part of the poll for next reworks, but got beat by Volibear and Fiddle.

His kit is serviceable and his winrate is good right now, like where are you getting this from besides your own experience being bad with him?

my Noc winrate is higher than the average winrate for Nocturne so, cant be that bad at him. Is it even possible to be bad at him. Dont project your own insecurities onto me homie.
