I was playing jax and camille beat me in a duel

Jax sucks end of discussion.

Jax isn't unbeatable in duels. I don't see what the issue is.

so I think there's something that needs to be said. sometimes... jax is in a duel. and sometimes there are other people in that duel that somehow don't die instantly. and sometimes they even sometimes maybe beat jax in the fight. I know it may be hard to hear but just take a bit to breathe and then see how we feel after ok?

Camille is a skirmisher like Fiora or Yi that is designed to duel and kill other fighters. Jax is a diver that's actually specialized to fight squishies. That's why Jax doesn't have %HP, true damage or free crit like most skirmishers do.

If you play this lane right, you should be able to mitigate almost all her damage with your E. If you messed that up, it's your fault.

When you see her dive to a wall you need to proc your E before she stuns you, it will still cancel her damage. Then when her cool downs are up you can trade back with Q/W.

At level 6 it's the same thing. If she ults you, proc your E and laugh while most of her damage doesn't affect you. Then trade back.

excels from mid to late game. Your goal as Jax is not die before level 6 and to get atleast 2 pieces of a or a (having it finished being better). I was watching Faker duel as jax vs fiora and the fiora had a lead and did everything right including procing the ult while still losing the duel. The thing is when you lane against jax its like laning against nasus in season 4. You feel compelled to kill him harder than others, because if he survives to the point where he has his items hes the single best duelist in the game. The problem is His early game sucks and unlike fiora he cant kill a tank, or dive as well as camille. Youre better off staying top all game, or atleast until mid game. Late game you suck at team fights. Jax CAN lose a duel, BUT if youre on even terms of items and levels, I really doubt it.

How did the duel play out, what did you do, what did she do, what levels were you both, what items? All that matters for what we should expect the outcome to be. I beat a in lane as because I used my E to avoid his and would then re-engage before his E was back up. I still think that matchup favors Jax over Tryndamere, but because I played it right, and he didn't manage to adapt to what I was doing, I ended up winning lane.

Maybe, and here is a thought. Just maybe, you shouldn't fight a cybered up streetsam with a lamp. Grab an actual weapon. And no, a hockey stick doesn't count. No matter how many times you watched Goon. (great movie btw)
