Bard Feeling Weak The Past Few Patches?

Could just be a bad streak of games but since the ADC itemization patch Bard is just feeling in a bad spot to me. I feel like he just gets poked out of lane too hard and losing a lot of trades/all-ins. Mages can outrange the ADC to poke. Enchanters just focus on keeping the ADC alive for lategame. Tanks feel a little worse off in lane but at least do better in the all-ins and do better lategame themselves.

I don't want to jump to conclusions asking for buffs, but even before the patch Bard certainly wasn't top tier. Would increasing his AA range from 500 to 525 be out of line? Feels like a little safer distance to poke and trade could make a reasonable difference without touching any of his ratios/base numbers. That said, he's definitely not bottom of the barrel and other supports need looking at much more- still feels bad to be so bullied around lately. Thoughts?
