Am I the only one seeing more Toplane Quinn than Midlane or ADC?

I'm not really seeing quinn mid... ever... I've seen quinn adc maybe 1-2 times but toplane quinn seems to be very popular Even jungle quinn has seen quite a bit of play

But... why are people not playing her midlane? Why top/jg?

Why play her midlane where people have the range to fight back?

Just abuse bruisers top lane all day every day. Much easier.

How do you explain Mid Ezreal or Mid Kog or Mid Varus or Mid Corki or Mid Kindred or Mid Fortune by that logic? I mean by that logic if range was all that mattered there would be a shit ton more champions with problems in mid than quinn would have. Range into range is an equal advantage.

I remember when Quinn first released she was most successful as a midlaner than in bot lane or top for that matter.

Quinn has medium range short trades combos.

Ezreal has more long range poke. Same for Varus. Same for Corki. MF has just more range, end of sentence. I don't see Kindred mid.

Quinn can really bully bruisers. These bruisers can mostly shrug off the poke from the others.

Kindred mid is a thing. It was even used a couple times an IEM. But just like an MF mid, or Yi mid, or Irelia mid that would have a disadvantage against ranged in a typical mid matchup, people still take them and still see relative or equal success, and Quinn has seen that kind of success mid. She can still have that kind of success mid. Pros even play quinn mid and well theyre professionals so they of course would know what theyre doing.

That isn't to say top isn't the "most" optimal lane for her but its not the only one that she can find success in.

Im just saying to say "its all about range" is to say its only about the matchup instead of how you play it. A player with experience doesn't let the game play for them, its the other way around, ya know.

It's not that Quinn can't go mid. It's just easier to take her top. She's like 75%+ to win any given match-up against a melee simply because of how well her kit allows her to bully them with little risk of getting all-in'd. She loses that advantage when she goes mid.

Thus: why go mid when you can go top and auto-win lane.

Because people love being ranged top.
