Irelia Gameplay Overhaul
My take on Irelia changes. I saw the PBE version and its bad. Removing everything unique about the champion and making her a stat check. Absolutly boring.
Rework (W) Defiant dance! Old version, complete remove. NEW Irelia can throw a blade at a cursor location, dealing 10/30/50/70/100 (+0.4) magic damage. Stores 6 charges. If you hit a champion with at least 2 blades, they deal reduced dmg to Irelia. Hitting a minion with a blade, makes them take increased dmg from Irelia's (Q).
NOTE: By 6 charges (She has 6 blades on her back), i mean Corki style rockets or Zyra (W). They will scale with CDR, so you will get more blades to throw as the game goes on. The (+0.4) is ability power, so people try mixing their builds and not just go for Triforce/titanic/guardian. I also want to tie the (W) with her other abilities, I want to make her a complex champion. So I will list the changes to her other abilities too ....
(Q) Bladesurge Same as it is now plus a new interaction. Irelia dashes forward to strike her target, healing herself. If the target is Marked or dies to Bladesurge, its cooldown refreshes. Irelia dashes to an enemy, dealing {{ championdamage }} physical damage, applying on-hit effects and healing for {{ healamount }} health.Bladesurge's cooldown is reset if the target was Marked or dies to Bladesurge. REMOVED Bladesurge deals {{ miniondamage }} damage to minions.
NOTE: Bonus dmg to minion on her (Q) is removed because its been added to her (W). If you hit a blade on a minion , you will deal more dmg to it.
(E) Flawless Duet Same as it is now but buffed dmg and stun duration. NEW Irelia needs 2 charges to cast her E. If Irelia has 0 charges on her (W) , she can NOT cast her (E).
NOTE: This will add a layer of depth to her. This will prevent you from spamming your (W) to harass your enemy all the time. By 2 charges I mean first cast is 1 chrage and second cast is 1 chrage. Not 2 chrages for instan cast stun or something.
(R) Vanguard's Edge Same as it is now buff buffed. 90% slow and a disarm if the enemy walks through it. Plus a dmg buff. NEW Enemies hit by Vanguard's Edge (R) take increased damage from Irelias (Q) NEW Vanguard's Edge (R) requires 6 charges to cast.
NOTE : (R) requires 6 charges of her (W). (Q) does not requires charges to cast. It makes sense from a visual perspective too. The animation of the (R) is Irelia throwing all her blades towards her enemy. Also the (W) charges cooldown gets lower when you level up the abilitty.
Thats about it. Im sure that this will make her a complex champion that will be hard to master , so im expecting a 40% overall win rate to be normal. Not possible for this to be 50% overall win rate, because Iron, Bronze and Silver exist. In my opinion this makes the champ more exciting to play, also to play against because her (W) is a skill shot.
