coming out of laning phase he was 0/3/3. he simply got fed by building tanky items so we couldn't kill him. his massive heals negate my initial damage and his mobility allows him to get away. he's pretty much the reason why we lost the game. so the question is if he is healthy to be played this way. assassin rengo has to work a bit harder to get ahead in the early game to snowball out of control. this dude did the reverse of that. lost early game, said fuck it i'll build tank, could 1v1 anyone. if he is losing the 1v1 his steraks pops off and just Qs away. it's really boring tbh

edit: games (and champions) like this is the reason why i opt to aram and random game modes instead of playing ranked

his rework was a failure, and left his player base unhappy. I fucking hate Riot Repertoire and his shitty reworks

Granted it did increase his kill window. Just not by enough (or by too much, forcing him to build tanky and benefit more from that crazy heal now).

Honestly Rengar should be balanced around diving than being an assassin. His assassin pattern has showed how unhealthy he can be.

or players just need to know not to wander off alone when hes fed. His ult gives a huge notification for the the enemy to see where hes coming from. players are just too stubborn and lazy to deal with him or any snowbally champ. They'll cry nerf when the game doesn't favor them

Now it does anyway. Before it barely gave much time to react (due to how short the duration originally was and with how close his jump range was compared to the warning range. They did nerf it so the range wasn't exactly the same, but it didn't help that much).

His current ult gives a lot more time for people to group up, but honestly that's only for post laning. Once he hits six during the laning phase, his ult doesn't really have the "group up" answer.

And even then, grouping up doesn't always work because he could just burst his target before he could be peeled off. Once you saw him leap from ult it was basically over.
