Other summoner spells could use the smite treatment.

Smite got modification items because it was boring and you didn't want to remove it because reasons. Well I argued for the removal of smite back in S3 but you know what, I like smite now. Good job.

Most of the other summoner spells are quite boring. Each one has a very narrow purpose while Flash is allowed to be dominant because it is such a flexible ability. This was another thing I voiced my opinion about back in the day, as far back as beta even. I always liked Flash and I'm glad it's still in the game.

But you know, even I tire of the same things over and over. And the meta being flash/tele, flash/smite, flash/heal, flash/ignite, and flash/exhaust is honestly not much more interesting than flash/ignite x5 was.

So in short I'm saying you should put in modification items for other summoner spells besides smite.

Honestly I think there should be a modification for flash on boot enchants but thats just me.

lol that just kinda cements flash as mandatory and is unfair to Shaco.

Distortion boot enchantment

Reduces flash cooldown by 20% and also grants a small boost in movespeed (30%) after flashing for 3 seconds. item 3253 item 3258 item 3263 item 3268 item 3273 item 3278 item 3283

It also augments summoner 6 ghost and summoner 12 teleport.

For some reason you can buy this enchantment if you don't have flash, ghost or teleport. Even though doing so has no effect.

OP is saying more items should be introduced that require spells to be equipped, like say, a super sightstone that you can only get if you have CV, which also changes your CV.

The biggest flaw with this enchant is that it is competing directly with the other enchants which are not tied to summoner cooldowns. This makes it pretty impractical compared to enchants that always provide a benefit or do very frequently such as homeguard.

The smite ones are well implemented because all of them directly enhance smite.

Change the spells by themselves or allow improvement via items?

That's a bit tougher to do since there aren't any roles that must take a summoner spell and there aren't any items that every champion who takes a summoner spell uses.

I meant add new items that require a certain summoner spell to buy, just like the machete items.

Maybe there could be some sort of enchantment for items that everybody buys? Maybe a second trinket enchantment that you get additionally which changes your summoner spell?

lol who even buys the current trinket upgrades anyway? I probably should get the sweeper one but I win without it and I forget it exists.
