prolly someone will tell solcrusher bout this, but duump your ideas of what poppys identity is

Tell what you think that defines poppy and what makes her diferent from others

for me its her power play, her skills have medicore cooldowns insane power and high costs (for her mana pool) i think that putting some % of her mana costs would work on her because atm items break her to a point where her power becomes limitless (assuming that she will get a kill early), she feels powerfull in every aspect, what she does not itemize for is managed by her skillset, you build dmg and you are medicorely tanky by your passive and w, you build tanky and you have your % dmg and ult dmg increase. On the other hand you go oom preety easily

i personaly like her very much but the meta hates her, and early fail means entire game fail

Poppy is to me one of the few true tanks of the game, she is really powerful late game but all the rest of the game is just extremely poor, not like Akali or Diana who have an extreme power spike at lvl 6. At 6 She do have her spike but only way late game she shows her true power, what makes her completely unviable. She will basically farm all game to shine when late game team fights start.

What Poppy is: Burst CC tank. She will pop up next to you push you to a wall making you helpless then burst you down taking a ridiculous low or no damage at all.

Why Poppy cant be like that all game: First - Mana; Second - Cooldowns; Third - w/o mana or cooldowns she will need items to supply the lack of the previous 2 issues.

You are confused.

Solcrushed doesn't want gameplay feedback. He wants feedback for what you think Poppy's personality, story, values are.

Which is odd because he's not a lore person and says so. This means he's trying a top-down rework and those are always hard.

Regardless, the only thing we know for sure that Poppy will keep gameplay-wise is her Heroic Charge.

Story, persona, etc are all important things in determining what type of abilities she gets and what her new visuals are. Is she someone that stays in a fight? Gets in and out? AD? AP? Heavy armor? Magical armor? It's probably going to be a Sion level rework so we shouldn't hold our breath for a quick update.

Doing some pretty preliminary water testing here. (Inb4 Riot is reworking Poppy!)

I would like to better understand how you, the players, perceive the core of Poppy the character to be.

Forget mechanics, I am not interested in specific kit particularities that you like or dislike (at least not yet, so please no arguments about whether her ult is appropriate for her or not) but about what you feel Poppy, the character, is about at her core. What about Poppy the character makes her an interesting addition in the vast roster of League of Legends?

I really do not understand how you can even misinterpret it. It is literally the very first post of the entire thread.
