Malzahar's passive will be irrelevant with the new banshees

INNATE: Malzahar receives Void Shift if he hasn't taken damage nor been affected by crowd control in the last 30 / 24 / 18 / **12 **seconds. Damage from minions does not interact with Void Shift.

Void Shift phases out Malzahar, making him immune to crowd control and taking 90% reduced damage, lingering for 0.25 seconds after taking damage or blocking a crowd control effect.
Banshee's Veil
- Unique Passive: Grants a spell shield that blocks the next enemy ability. This shield refreshes after no damage is taken from enemy champions for 44-8 seconds based on level.
Malzahar's passive can be popped by anything you sneeze in his direction. Banshee's veil cannot be popped by auto attacks and some abilites like 
e and 
w.
Sure he gets 90% damage reduction for a whopping .25 seconds, but what then? Every other mage can basically buy his passive from the shop. And to those that don't know, banshee's passive is useless on malzahar if one gets popped, both of them get popped.
