He's a fucking tank but gets melted by these ADCs. And his cleavers are junk cause they can all easily dash away/snare/stun him. And then proceed to shred his armor. Is Rito ever going to address this?

only a hand full of ADC's actually have CC, usually to compensate for not having Mobility. Also you should not be dueling the ADC, your their for the Team fight.

The itemization he most prefers is specifically targeted against mages. Keep in mind that high HP is probably the best thing you can itemize to counter burst cycles from AP champions. High regen is also specifically good against AP burst because those champions do not have the sustained damage to finish you off before your health is high once again.
Spirit visage - health and magic resist with the healing passive
Warmogs - health and regen, great against AP burst
Banshees Veil - health, spellshield, and regen. The definitive anti-burst item.
^Mundo scales incredibly well with all of these items. Far better than their armor counterparts with the exception, possibly, of Randuins and Sunfire.
But if we look at Sunfire, it only has 45 armor. So not very good against ADs in later stages of the game. It's more of a regen and damage item for Mundo.
And Randuins has the active which works just as well against AP champions as it does ADs.
Other armor items include thornmail and frozen heart, neither of which Mundo likes very much because they have no health or regeneration.
TehNACHO1 votesMundo's kit is designed to soak up damage so that he survives long enough to harm the opposing team. He gets tanky to defend himself, not others. He is not a tank, he is an off tank.

Just becuz u build tank items on him he is NOT a tank. He is the same cathegory as Garen or Chogath who are also offtanks but on the defensive/tankier side (while beings like Irelia and JAx are on the more OFFENSIVE side).
The reason why Mundo's usually go fulltank is he also has this stupid "gets dmg from defensive stat" bs.
And since u are msot likely unfamiliar with the roles lemme tell u this:
Tanks: Heavy cc machines with goodfrontliner abilities and peeling for teammates with usually low dmg output.
Offtanks: OFFENSIVE KIT (like Mundo's 3 dmg spell and MS steroid ult) who builds mostly tank items and have their sufficent dmg from abilities (aka Mundo). Mundo is not a tank, just becuz his ult abuses tank items well and u run front to faceeat every skillshot it won't make him a tank.

building tanky builds is only meant to defend for himself, not for his teammate. Although you could, but it won't wrok as well as other actual hard CC tanky champs, like

Unless there's a chance you would build 
on to make an AoE slows with his W, there's a sliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight chance he can be considered an actual "team tank"
