In Aram, TT, and Dominion skaner is still skarner. Do you guys even remember the game has other maps when tinkering with champs?
Let's not forget that when skarner isn't near one of his crystals, he's still the old skaner. Ganking? Old skarner. Defending base? Old skarner. Needed on places that aren't those six places? Still the old skarner.

Linna Excel1 votesI do too but I can wait and see on that part. Skarner is one of those champs riot never seems to be able to get quite right so it's hard to hate the change completely or love it completely as you never know if it'll be there in his rework next year.

Icestar11861 votesI would disagree. The problem is that people try to play him as a tank, or go full damage when he's best built (in my opinion) as an AP bruiser. As a bruiser, he does great sustained AOE damage with Q. His W actually shields him for a meaningful amount, but he has resistances to back it up. His E is pretty much only there for the slow and the passive stack regardless of his build (if you're going to rework Skarner, I would look there first). His ult is actually pretty good. It's not for deleting carries. It's for locking them down and repositioning them. You can pull someone under a tower with it, or move the enemy ADC away from their team. It does decent damage, but that isn't its main purpose.

Rueian1 votesYou should try it, its actually really nice now that Runeglaive is a thing. Rylai brings back old school skarner when his Q used to slow, paired with RoA and Runeglaive you never run out of mana unless you stay out of the jungle a long time,

This question deserves its own thread. There's a fine line between unique and annoying gameplay and sometimes I think riot is too eager to cross that line.

Takes far too long, by then, your lane is shoved in and you lose a full wave of minions. Definitely not worth doing that.
Rueian1 votesso you could feed at most 45 maybe 60 gold to 1 enemy safely. Do they lock after being captured like in TT? It could accelerate the jungle a little.
Is the movespeed the trade off for not giving the allied side gold for capturing?

Following that, they buffed him just enough to be useful Now they're ruining him again. WTF Riot..? You're putting his passive on that useless ass E, and then making his new passive utterly worthless. Excuse me, not worthless, it actively HELPS the enemy. Get rid of this broken PoS you claim is Skarner, and just leave the damn bug alone. He no longer misses his kind. You took that from him, what more do you want!?
