As a toplane, whens the best time to TP?

I main top as fiora, but the biggest flaw i have as a top is learning when to tp somewhere else, i've been watching challenger fioras, and a lot of them tp to help with their 3/0 lead. What should i look for when tping to help bot or mid?

In solo Q, I don't ever TP to another lane in early game. That's farm lost and it opens my lane to attack.

It's a high risk low reward situation in my experience. There's no guarantee of securing any kill and when you don't, you've burned a summoner's for nothing and you have to make the long walk back to lane, losing out on exp and gold. And even if you do get a kill or assist from tp'ing in, if you aren't there to secure the turret then all you've accomplished is securing a kill for the sake of a kill for the aforementioned cost.

The best time is when your bot side has a ward in lane bush, your jungler is bot side and your lane is pushed. Ping them to engage, get yourself free assists or kills, free drake then on your way back to top. If your bungler moves with you you might be able to get a safe ganknon mid also

this is a tricky question and involves a large amount of map awareness as well as awareness of the strength of your enemies also the ability to trust your teamates, in solo queue i wouldnt put it past teamates to abandon you if you tp in, but you should only tp to help another lane if you lane is pushed enough you will not lose tower and are sufficiently ahead that yur opponent will not turn the fight for the worse unless your sure your opponent has no tp up. also on a side note you show pay attention to your and their jungler,

if the lane you are tping to is pushed in your favor, you can expect their jungler to be nearby and should make sure yours is before attempting to tp and start a fight

if the lane is pushed in your enemies favor it is less likely their jungler will be there so if there is a ward behind them and your teamates are not to low or at an overwhelming gold disadvantage it might be a good time to tp in, especially if your jungler is on the way

if you are behind it is better not to tp to another lane, but rather be passive top, if your are behind you dont want it to affect the other lanes by having a fed enemy follow you in so its better to stay and passive farm so he has to stay else you should get his tower.

You want to TP if you see the enemy start to engage, or push your team off an objective.

Look at the map every so often, like per 5 secs.. So you have consistent map awareness. If you want to TP bot for possible plays and drake, ask them to put a deep ward, maybe in the lower river bush or in the farther lane bush at bot lane.. And if they overextend, or should I say going too pushed, that's your time to TP but you should ask your teammates about the enemies summs before you TP. If its successful, try going for Drake, push the lane but don't take the cs, or take first blood turret. Practice this strat/technique in norm/ranked.

I have a tendency to use my first TP to return to lane and my second TP to take bottom tower or get kills in the bottom lane. That doesn't always happen so I will sometimes just use second TP to return to lane.

I do play Nasus, so I don't make a lot of early TP plays because I know that my champion can't offer a whole lot in a pre6 skirmish.
